IT'S NOT A DEATH ISSUE.

Immediately, I sprang up, causing Wyatt to raise his head and arch his brows.

My stomach churned, and I felt a sense of dizziness wash over me. How can I make such a silly mistake? Do I have a death wish?

"I'm satiated." I quickly blurted out a lie without eating to my satisfaction or finishing my portion of food. Wyatt's eyes darkened immediately, and it made me shiver out of fear.

Immediately, I fled from the dining room without waiting for his reply. I quickly bolted into my room and closed the door before locking it.

I bit my lower lip and paced about the room anxiously. How can I make such mistakes? How can I be so low-guarded in front of him? Have I forgotten his identity?

I facepalm myself. To think I almost let out a secret to him.
