Don't Be Greedy

Upon seeing the protests held in front of the betting company, a frown settled on Arya's face and mine. Isn't the betting just and fair? What are these sets of people protesting for?

Something suddenly clicked in my head.

For a group of people to come together to protest, I knew things weren't simple.

Nobody will suddenly decide to protest unless someone has secretly instigated hatred. That person must've planned to use the crowd's hatred to attack me.

Since everyone had bet a lot of money against me because they thought I'd lose, that person wanted to take advantage of my sudden winnings. Now the crowd had been successfully goaded.

However, when they were placing their bet, shouldn't they know it's win or lose? Why will I purposely lose in the fight with Lorelei if I'm strong? Am I crazy? Also, no one knew I'd be fighting with the rogues as my second trial, right? So, is there a reason to pretend? I wonder who's instigating the crowd.
