Ricky
Ricky leaned on the entryway to the kitchen while wearing a complicated expression.
He just woken up from his sleep when Noel suddenly knocked on his door, and bursted into his house just like that. Lucky for him, Irya' had taken care of the house excellently so he wouldn't embarrass himself in front of his soulmate.
...There he went again, thinking as if Noel was his girlfriend visiting the house for the first time.
He blamed Lucas for making him felt so strange around Noel. He ought to give him a kick someday.
His thoughts were suddenly interrupted when he saw Noel opening a small portal and from that portal, he started stacking pumpkins on the kitchen counter. Luckily, Ricky has had his breakfast before sleeping again.
His eyes twitched.
Rather than wanting to change his clothes from his pajama or even being surprised by Noel's spatial magic, he was more concerned of the amount of pumpkins that Noel had took out from the inve
I too want to hug my partner like how Ricky did. But, I'm just a single potato TT_TT
Raon/Horan"...That is!"Horan shouted amidst the raging blizzard when he saw a huge stature of a two headed ogre emerging between the tall trees. As it moved, it's rotten insides dangled from the opening of it's belly, spreading a nauseating smell.Raon and Horan leaped from their place when the icy surface began to devour the surrounding ground. They both landed on a branch of the tree not far from the ogre. The ogre treaded aimlessly, circling the perimeter near the portal. Judging from it's movements, it doesn't seem like the ogre was aiming for them."The gravekeeper, what is it doing here?"Horan said, before checking around to see any minions following it. Two headed ogre holds another name, 'The Gravekeeper', because everywhere it stepped, a mass icy plague emerged from it's monstrous feet, killing the land. Raon shook his head. Not only the dark elves were strange, the ogre which was supposed to belong to the underworld was also here in th
IzfarIzfar was deep in his thoughts while he stared the data about lost creatures that the ministry of general affairs and ministry of defense have shared. It explains the huge increase of numbers for missing creatures throughout the years, especially the pixies.Fortunately, Izfar had found most of the names on the list, yet unfortunately, all of them were already dead and turned into an offering for black magic.Just a few minutes ago, Raon and Horan teleported back to the palace, looking completely deranged. Fear and wariness were reflected in their eyes as they told him all about what they saw, in addition for solidifying the evidence that they sent a few days ago via Hexana. As of that moment, Izfar had ordered the some knights, mages and berserkers to gather quickly for their journey to the forest of dreams, while being led by Raon and Horan, and also Rukaiya as their primary support and healer."We don't know why the ogre was there or who w
NoelNoel raised the coat above his head as he examined it. Judging by it's meticulous sewing and high quality fabric, this grey suit that Ricky had worn was definitely an expensive one. Noel turned to Ricky who was scrolling his phone while sitting on the side of the bed."Ricky, as I thought, you really did modelling, right?""Huh?" Ricky rolled his eyes. "I told you I'm not."He paused for a bit. "I wore them to meet my parents."He blurted. That topic caught Noel's interest when his eyes lit up curiously."Your parents? What are you doing meeting them?" He quickly hanged back the coat and sat abruptly on the other side of the bed that the mattress springs creaked.Ricky put down his phone and scratched his head. He was hesitant to tell Noel even though that was his main reason to his visit. After a few minutes of silence and a persistently curious Noel who was staring at him, he heaved a sigh."I patch thing up with them."
RickyRicky was resting comfortably on the sofa in Noel's house as if it's his own while waiting for Noel to finish preparing himself. Few minutes have passed when Noel finally walked down the stairs, him clad with a thick dark blue long coat and a muffler around his neck."...I can't believe we're really camping out even though exams are just around the corner."He plodded near Ricky who had gotten up from the sofa. He was also wearing the same warm clothing; a thick black long coat on the outside, a dark blue turtleneck on the inside, denim jeans and a lumberjack boots. He unraveled the muffler from Noel's neck."You are wearing a turtleneck also, right? Then we won't need this." He placed the muffler on the sofa seat.Noel glanced at Ricky. "Are we really going out?"He said that, but his eyes were sparkling with anticipation. Ricky chuckled and motioned him to exit the house, where his car was parked."Of cour
AdamAdam was supposed to admire the autumn hillside scenery, the fresh cold breeze, and the colorful brown leaves that filled the sides of the calm lake. But how could he, not when he was suddenly kidnapped by the Ricky and Noel pair and was brought to a place—which was a campground—located far away from their homes.Adam was actually reluctant to go with the both of them—even if his mother allowed him—because he felt like he was third wheeling a date. He expected the whole journey to the campground to be quietly suffocating, however, instead of staying still, Noel initiated conversations with him, and even handed him some freshly baked, pocket sized pumpkin pie that was still warm in his hands."What are you doing giving him the pie? Won't he get full before he even have the stew?"Ricky scolded Noel.Adam shot his friend a strange look. Since earlier, Ricky and Noel have been acting like some old married couple, judging f
NoelThat night, after their feast, the three of them were sprawling inside the huge tent. Ricky's sleeping place was on the middle, separating Adam and Noel on his sides. While Noel softly snoozed, Ricky was laying on his back and gazed towards the high ceiling of the tent and Adam was scrolling through his phone."What are you doing?"Ricky glanced at the screen of Adam's phone. It was showing a website."Just scrolling through things."He continued scrolling and accidentally tapped on a video. The video was just a few seconds, but it showed a footage of some black looking hole forming on a desolate street."Was that editing?"Ricky who also watched the video asked."Maybe, there are many people who edit things and post them here in this website. It's like a creepypasta."Ricky narrowed his eyes."You and your weird tendency to watch creepy videos again."Adam giggled and turned off his phon
Ricky"I-Is that a costume?"Adam stuttered as he tried to convince himself, partly shocked by what he just saw, and partly amused by the sudden thoughts of an early costume wearing attempt. On the other hand, Ricky was speechless. It became worse when his camouflaged blue eyes scraped away it's tinge, leaving a bright glow of golden eyes in the dark evening atmosphere. Ricky slightly flinched when he felt a strong surge of something cold, yet prickly and murderous at the same time coming from the skeleton soldiers which was now inching closer.KRR!! KRR!!As it's armor clad white figure raised it's bone arms, suddenly, it threw the sword that was hanging on it's hands. Things were seriously not a joke anymore when the flying sword were SERIOUSLY and ALMOST killed Adam by heading straight towards his head. However, before it could split his head open, Ricky quickly parried the sword's direction with his hand and it flew through Adam, passing
Raon/HoranIn the dark, swirling clouds sky, above the closed otherworld portal, a huge glowing pentagram formed. Shortly after, people rained down from it, them clad with armor while being led by Raon, Horan and Rukaiya. The three of them unseathed their weapons to prepare for any ambush. However, except for the unsurmountable amount of dead bodies lying around, the ground surrounding the portal was deserted, no ogres or undeads were spotted. After the whole troop landed safely, they immediately started surveying the perimeter."What the, there's no one here."Rukaiya rested her hands on her hips while she pouted."Strange. I swear both of me and Raon saw a big number of undeads here. Had them all gone somewhere?"Horan ordered the troop to gather on a wide area while waiting for the espionage group to inspect around.Time went by, but they still haven't detected any enemies. It was as if no dark elves ever resided in there, and as i
RICKY’S POV “What the hell…?” I mumbled, reaching out my fingers to the floating sentence in front of me. It was untouchable, judging from my hands that went through the words like waving through air. If this sentence in front of me cannot be touched, then does that mean it was only in my mind? Scratching my hand that was bitten by mosquitoes, I fluttered my eyes several times, trying to make sure I was not hallucinating. The words really appeared in my mind. Soon after that, the words started to fade away—slightly different from the games because it faded like the shadows or your reflection on the surface of the water that wavered because of something touching the surface. I got up from the sofa—still glueing my eyes to the disappearing words—and turned around to the sliding door after the sentence had fully disappeared from my eyes. Still fazed, this hands of mine moved by itself, tugging the metallic door and sliding it close. The same was
RICKY’S POVI feel betrayed in many ways than one.No, seriously. If there are people outside there that wished to learn the basics of magic, without having even an ounce of Mana Reserve inside them, I advice you to quit.Even for me, who posses a huge amount of Mana, so huge that I can even restore my soulmate’s Mana Reserve to their fullest, can’t even handle my Mana very well.“Focus. I can sense your breath faltering.”A voice resounded in my mind, making it’s way through my eardrums and of course, completely destroying the last bit of focus that I have inside me. I heaved a huge exasperated sigh that sounded more like a grunt and glanced towards the sky in frustration.“Val! Look, I am trying my best to focus here. Can you at least be quiet?”“....I wouldn’t call it a focus if your thoughts wandered somewhere.”I gasped in surprise.“You&
Oberon In the darkness, a distant chiming bell became his guide. He wondered why was he in this condition—being suddenly trapped in the darkness that he had no knowledge of right after coming from another world—even so, his body—heavy and numb—felt very hard to move. Oberon laid still and let himself surrender to the darkness. It was black—everywhere—is black, yet it felt warm and gentle. A kind darkness if he may assume. He slowly regained his strength when he felt something soft and furry touching his forehead. Immediately after his strength completely came back to him, Oberon gradually opened his eyes. When his view is clear, Oberon saw someone unfamiliar above him was stroking his hair. It was a beastman, but from their build
(MIDNIGHT BASKING)(After having dinner and resting a bit in the tent)RickySomehow, Ricky couldn’t seem to fall asleep. Despite him, Noel and Adam who have had a little too much fun night trekking and frolicking around the area after they have their dinner that he should have felt tired by it, Ricky didn’t feel it, the sleepiness nor the fatigue. However, contrary to him, Adam is sleeping like a log beside him. The frequency of his snores is like begging for Ricky to clam his mouth shut and probably gave him a smack or two on his forehead. What a lass, disturbing people with his loud snores. There’s a reason as to why Ricky is slightly irked by Adam’s snores in particulr at that very moment. For Ricky, he doesn’t care that much if his friend snores, make a 720 degree roll until his t-shirt became a top tank, or even perform an acrobatic movement in sleep while having the legs smush everything in it&rsqu
Oberon (Noel)“Your majesty!”Izfar opened the door of the dressing room while yelling for Oberon’s name. Inside the room, the maids were fitting Noel—who had already returned to his original body—with some oriental clothes imbued with several enchantments.“Hey, Izfar. Long time no see.” Oberon grinned.Izfar showed a relieved look. “Welcome back.”“I’m back.”They both exchanged smiles.Unfortunately, they didn’t have time to sit down and have a talk as Oberon was preparing for protection ceremony by Madam Ruzka before he again departed into a new world. After wearing the full outfit for the ceremony, he headed to the main hall, where Madam Ruzka had awaited him.Chants of spells filled the hall, infusing a pool that was located at the middle of the hall with mana. Upon completion, the pool glowed with a bright, turquoise color. Without delay
NoelNoel heaved a deep sigh after he opened his eyes.“Hm? Where is he?”He darted his eyes around, searching for Ricky.“Hey.” A voice said, and he turned around.Ricky was sitting on a fallen tree trunk while crossing his legs lazily. He was holding his smartphone that had flashlight turned on and on his lap, the stacks of books were placed with one book on the top being opened by Ricky.“Took you long enough. I had already finished five chapters into the book. I even have to use a flashlight because the forest it too dark!”Ricky ranted. Noel was only able to laugh. He understood where Ricky was coming from, being left alone in a scary looking place and all.“I’m sorry.” Noel saidRicky sighed and ruffled his hair.He then stood up and brushed any dirt and dust from his clothes, before walking near Noel and handed him the three books.“Here. Mi
Noel/RickyEvening quickly came by, yet they both still lazed around on the couch.Closing the novel book he read, Ricky apouted, “As I thought, you should really move into-”“I won’t.” Noel immediately cut in.The both of them sat still.“Ricky, there is something I would like to tell you.” Noel spoke after a long while of silence.“What is it?” Ricky who was leaning against the sofa now sat straight as he gave his full attention to Noel. Noel also sat straight, slightly hesitating his decision.“I...” He paused. “It is time for me to go, to leave earth and venture into a new world.”Ricky froze. In one moment, he looked as if he really wanted to oppose the idea; with him frowning and stuff, yet in the next moment, he fell into a deep thought.“…Go on then.”Noel blinked his eyes in confusion. For more solid ev
NoelIt was the morning right after the big incident involving the whole world. It was supposed to be a big incident, but no news were stating about it and nothing showed up in social media regarding that issue. Most importantly, the neighborhood was too quiet, no damages, no casualties, and not even… sadness?Ricky frowned while folding the laundries.“Ricky, if you frown like that, the house spirits will get scared.” Noel stepped near while holding a laundry basket in his arms.“Oh, sorry.”Ricky apologized to some house spirits that were trembling in fear of him. Noel sat on the carpeted floor near him and took out the laundries to fold. Then they both went silent except for the whirring sound of the washing machine inside the laundry room.“Noel.” Ricky called and Noel glanced at him. “Am I that scary?”Noel narrowed his eyes. “What’s with this sudden question?&rdq
RickyAfter somehow managed to reach Noel’s house, he entered the unlocked door. Looking around, the surroundings were quiet.Ricky leaned on the sofa in the living room, while staring blankly at the wooden ceiling. In his mind, scenes of what happened earlier replayed for countless of times. It was as if reminding him that his life had changed the moment he became the Sol of a person named Noel Kieran, or to be more precise, Oberon. He remembered it vividly, how Noel emitted such powerful aura when he destroyed the undead army in a single blow. He somehow managed to assert dominance, while also fully expressing his beauty in the moonlit background. Seeing him like that made Ricky wonder if he was able to be like him or not.He also wanted to protect Noel from any harm, not wanting to be the one to always be protected. But how can he became like that? His eyes darted in
