“Amanda, please! I just really need to do something today; we're both betas so you can just do that job also without a problem. I already called the manager that I will send someone to replace me today, please just now. Please, Amanda.” Amanda could not help but sighed because of the request of her co-worker Tera because she had a date with her boyfriend.

She kept begging Amanda to take her job at a hotel as a part-timer for tonight.

  “Tera, I might just mess up at your work. You're the one who said that there was a big party there; I'm not familiar with working at a hotel because I only work at restaurants and coffee shops. "She softly said, but the real reason was that she was hesitant.

 She is a recessive omega, which is why everyone thinks she is a beta. After all, she could be considered a wolfless woman. But that wasn't bad news for her because, in fact, it was even more to her advantage; she can apply for any job for betas only, normal Alphas can’t smell her pheromones, and last, she can earn money and pay all her debt and bills. But, being recessive omega is still dangerous for that kind of job.

 what if there are special Alphas out and they will know her secret?

 She was ready to take down the offer for the nth time but Tera immediately speak.

  “The pay is more than 30,000 just for the night! Just take it; I will let you take them all!” Her tone is still pleaded while using her puppy eyes. But the real reason that Amanda was stunned is the money!

 “Are you really sure that job is normal and safe? Why they will pay you 30,000 just for a night?!” She asked but the truth, she was really excited to take the job now!

“Actually, I really want to take the job they will only pay us that much just for tonight but my fiancé is more important than the money you know. So please, Amanda helps me.” Her co-worker did not really give up persuading her.

She sighed, acting like she can’t do anything but accept the offer.

 “Okay, I will take your job just for tonight okay? Don’t forget your promise about the pay!” She finally agreed with the reason for Tera to jump and kissed her cheeks.

 “Thank you so much, dear! You are the best, really!” Amanda just smiled as responded to Tera.

 To be honest, she was the one who should be thankful to Tera. To give her a part-time job with a large salary for a period of time to earn; she can call it a blessing for her. Who is she to refuse a job that she knows very well that she will earn a huge amount of money that will greatly reduce her financial problems?

Amanda kept looking at the clock, as the time runs and her shift was finally over, she immediately walked toward the manager, “Excuse ma’am, can I leave first now? I got another job to do, so I need to go now.”

She looked at Amanda, “another job? Aren’t you tired?” the manager asked with pity and worry, how long since they become co-workers and the manager knew very well how she tried every day.

“I’m not, when there is money, I can earn I will never feel it.” She jokingly said.

For others, she looks and sounds like a money-hunger woman. But the manager can understand her more than the others.

“Sure, you can leave now. Just make sure you didn’t push yourself too hard, I don’t know the real reason why you keep trying to earn money as if you have some debt to a loan shark but it will be harder if your body will fall ill.” She taps her shoulder.

Amanda just smile at her and walk away, she wanted to laugh, she really has debt to a loan shark.

“I don't think I can do this job." She whispered to herself as she’s looking at the tall building in front of her and the luxurious cars in front of it. “How can Tera work in this place without feeling nervous at all?”

Everything in the place tells that it’s for those who were born with gold and silver spoon in their mouth, an omega who was born in a small space room like her is not acceptable to associate with them.

Like how her parent said, they need to distance themselves from these kinds of people. Nothing good to happen if one life is tangled to them.

“Let’s just forget about the money, I can earn it for my four jobs.” She again whispers to herself and was about to leave when her phone rang.

 It was the nurse who watches her mother since she was admitted to the hospital, “I'm sorry to disturb you, Amanda, I know you're busy working but your Mom needs the medicine. The cashier doesn’t allow me to borrow it first and add to your debt bills. I can't do anything because I’m just working here as a nurse.” The nurse explained.

 Amanda closed her eyes tightly, her chest tightened at the news heard from the nurse. What was happening to them was so painful, she didn't know how long she would be able to endure such a life. It's okay if it's just her but even her bedridden mother still feels the hardships of life.

“Maybe you can lend me first tonight, I'll give it back to you right after my work.” She's ashamed of the Nurse she's talking to, but what can she do? The only thing she can do now is borrow.

 The woman on the other line was silent for a moment, and then she heard it sighed, “You know I can't refuse you, but I hope you can pay the money right away because I need it too.” She said.

  “I will and thank you very much for all your help so far. I will be grateful to you for this.” Amanda answered. She was really relieved that there were people still willing to help them.

 “Okay, I will hang up now. Take your time but don't strain yourself too much, okay?” The nurse reminds her.

  Amanda just nodded her head as if the nurse will see it, when she heard the dead sound of the call, she looked at the hotel again. Maybe that was also signed for her to do the work in front of her. “I can do it, just don’t get close to any of them. Everything will be fine.” She encourages herself to do her best not to mess around.

  As soon as she entered, she was immediately greeted by the manager who looks pissed. “Are you Tera's replacement tonight, why did you just arrive now, didn't she tell to you that you should be early?” The manager asked her with hostility.

 She immediately shook her head, “She didn't mention the time, and Tera just said that after my shift at one of my jobs, I should straight go here.” She explained.

The manager stared at her, who made her nervous for a moment, and then suddenly pulled her, “It doesn't matter, as a beta you're beautiful so I'll let you do the job, now get dressed and wear i.t I'll just answer the call in the reception.” Amanda was about to answer the manager but the woman immediately turned away from her and politely answered the phone call.

She looked at the dress given to her, it was still the formal uniform for employees but its sociability could still be seen there. The black long sleeves shirt and pencil-cut black skirt really fit her long and white legs of her.

 “Perfect!” She heard the manager blur out and clapped her hand. Amanda was happy to see how to change the mood of the manager in front of her. “Now here, take it to room 1324, hurry up because the VVIP called and he needs that right away!” Shocked, Amanda quickly obeyed the manager's order and walked down the hotel hallway. She looked at the door numbers one by one.

 “Baby, more yes! There…uhm.” Amanda quickly bowed as a woman's gaze shifted to her as she hugged the Alpha tightly while kissing her neck. “Let’s get inside.” The woman whispered to the Alpha.

She stops breathing until she could finally get past them. "It turns out that their room is on their side and they chose to start their make out outside." She whispers to herself and continued to walk toward 1324.

  She knocked, “Excuse me, Sir! Is this the room of Mr. Wilgus?" She asked but no one answered, the reason for her to knock again. “Sir, my manager told me to deliver it to you, I think this is your medicine.” She added. From the look of the box she was holding it was obviously medicine but she was not sure what kind of medicine and for what.

                ‘What if he has a serious illness and needs medicine?’ Amanda was worried when she thought of that.

“Leave it outside, I will get it later.” A hoarse voice finally answered, but from the sound of it; Amanda can’t help to be more worried.

   “S-sir, I can’t do that. The manager said I should check your situation first.” She said, but the truth is… It’s a lie.

“I don’t need your help, get lost!” He shouted.

But because of her mother’s situation, she can’t help to think that the man on the other side really needs her help.

Fortunately, the manager also gave her the spare key with the box of medicine.

But like her parent said, stop sticking your nose into other’s business. As she opens the door, the man who does unpleasant things welcomed her.

Amanda could feel Alpha’s pheromones in every corner of the room, intoxicating, like a drug addictive for an omega like her. This is the first time she felt so much heat inside of her body.
