For several reasons.

First, he was aware Shana was angry because of Kritika.

Second, Kritika had disturbed his sleep. He wanted to hear Shana's sound the first thing after waking up. He had become habitual of it nowadays.

Thirdly, he knew Kritika was only making excuses to talk to him. Even though he had warned her enough in every polite possible way to stop her tactics.

Gosh, she was getting too ahead of herself. She needed to stop. It was already too awkward for Vihaan to look at her.

He did not want her to mess in his relationship anymore.

Scared of Shana's misunderstanding, he lifted his eyes from the laptop and looked at Shana.

She was getting ready. But her body posture was not at ease.
