Lona's POV

"Alpha King, are you there, do you hear what I say?" I shouted in my head.

No one responded to me. Because I was using distant hearing rather than mind linking with him, of course he didn't hear my words.

Although I was a little disappointed, it proved that Alpha King wasn't too far away from us. If I mind linking to him, he would come here quickly.

There's something preventing me from being mind linked to Alpha King. I could use my distant hearing ability to hear Alpha King's words, but I couldn't make a mind link with him.
