116. New chance

Lona's POV

After listening to Rose's question, I nodded without hesitation.

I did not intentionally hide my intention to participate in the running competition. I didn't say it, just because I didn't want too many werewolves to care about this.

I came here looking for Rose, asking about the Shadow Killer just because of the running contest. The contest hadn't started yet. I didn't want to lose my spirit with others.

"If I participate in this race, I will have another chance to qualify as an outsider to become a member of the Blue Sea pack, I really want to try." I calmly spoke my mind.

"There are a lot of talented werewolves participating in that competition. If you participate, it's hard to win," said Rose.

I had absolutely no such desire. I believed in my potential but I understood that in the short term, I couldn’t turn that potential into real capacity.
