ARMANDO

I came back that day and before I went up to my room, my maid welcomed me with the envelope.

"What is this?"

"She refused to collect it from me."

"Where is she?"

"She has gone."

I rushed to the guest room but it was neatly arranged like someone hadn't been there.

"Hmmm."

I collected the envelope back and went up to my room. I dropped my briefcase on the table and I saw the test result. I picked it up with my hand and sat down on my bed.

I carefully scanned my eye through it and I realized the date of conception. I began to wonder if I made a mistake.

I don't even know when I went through the test results over and over again. I became confused. Maybe I overreacted but then Chris' voice came playing in my head.

I dropped the paper back on the table and went to shower. I saw myself dressing up, it was obvious I was going to have my dinner outside my house because my head was filled up. I don't even know what to believe.

She hadn't called throughout the day and I wasn'
