06: confirmed!

"Did you bring what I bought you, Brielle?" Tallulah asked in a whisper when her friend entered her room. Because she sent her there to buy her a pregnancy test to confirm why she was always nauseous and weak.

Brielle nodded. "I don't know what to do with you, Tali! My God! I'm the one who's nervous about what you're doing. What if you're really pregnant? What's your life like, you're too young to be a mother, you don't even know anything in childcare. How are you studying?" She gave her the Pregnancy Test and she immediately took it.

She looked at her friend. "Don't overreact, ok? Even if I'm pregnant, it's not good because I can use the child to get Gael to marry me. Besides, motherhood has been studied, right? Excitement and joy spread among her smiles. "I can't wait to marry him, Brielle because since then, that has been my only dream. I want to be Mrs. Ramirez."

Brielle narrowed her eyes on her. She inhaled. "You know if you weren't feeling bad, I would have hit you because of your mindset.”

"Hey, Brielle, don't stop me, ok? Why don't you just support me because I'm about to become Mrs. Ramirez." She even closed her eyes as if she had breathed in her impending victory. "Alright, I'll leave you for now because I'm excited to get pregnant with Gael," she said lamely. Her friend was about to hit her so she quickly ran to the bathroom.

While she was standing and looking at the pregnancy test, she could feel her chest pounding because of the nervousness and excitement of the result. She is nervous because Gael might not hold him responsible because she knows how much he hates her but she will do everything to make him responsible for the baby if she can confirm that she's pregnant.

She blew out air before sitting on the toilet to take a urine sample for the test. While she was doing that, she held her breath. She knew that it would be big news if it happened and she didn't care because she only wanted one thing, to marry Gael.

Her hand was still shaking while dropping the urine sample in the pregnancy test. She swallowed while waiting for the result. She waited for a few more minutes for the line on the pregnancy test she was holding.

Her eyes widened when she saw the two lines on the pregnancy test. "OMG! This is real! I'm pregnant!" The extreme shock that appeared on her face, was replaced by intense joy and excitement because it was true that Gael had gotten her pregnant. They will have a child and there is nothing else he can do but marry her. The smile on her lips could not disappear.

When Tallulah recovered, she immediately left the bathroom. She found Brielle sitting on the edge of the bed. She was surprised when she hugged her friend and she jumped. "I'm pregnant, Brielle. I'm pregnant and Gael is the father! This is real, I'll be Mrs. Ramirez soon!" She pulled away and excitedly showed the pregnancy test with two lines.

Instead of Brielle being happy, her face couldn't be painted while looking at her as if her reaction was not normal. "Seriously, Tali, are you still happy that you're pregnant? It will ruin your dreams. You're too young and you're studying and yet you're happy with this pregnancy? Tali, you're such a crazy woman!" She said, shaking her head in disbelief at her reaction.

She snorted. "Why should I not be happy, Brielle? This is a blessing for Gael and me and he can't do anything but marry me because we're going to have a baby together. I can study again after I give birth, right? And Besides, when Gael and I get married, I'm ready to serve him for the rest of my life, so why do I need to study?"

Brielle rubbed her forehead. She almost had a heart attack because of what she said. She is really losing her mind. "You're out of your mind, Tali! What did you think of doing this? Do you think that because you're pregnant, Gael will marry you? Or if you get him, are you sure he'll love you? Or maybe forever you will endure his anger towards you."

She was stunned. "T-there's nothing he can do if he doesn't marry me. Mom and Dad won't agree that he's not responsible for me, especially since I'm pregnant." Despite that, she felt sadness and pain because of that fact.

"I don't know what to do with you, Tali! If I only had a heartache, I'm dead now. You know Gael doesn't love you, you still have a dream and then you want to tie him to you? Do you think he can hold you accountable if he hates you? You might ruin his life because of what you're doing and if you love him, you shouldn't be doing it."

"I love him, that's why I'm doing this, Brielle. Even if he hates me, he can't do anything but take responsibility for me and our child. He can't run away from his responsibility."

"His responsibility?" Brielle sighed. "You know, Tali you're my best friend and you know I support you in many things but this time, I can't support you. It's not right and in the end, you're the only one who will get hurt because of your mindset." Brielle's frustration was evident. She shrugged before walking out of the room.

She snorted as she looked at her distant friend. "No matter what you say, I won't listen. I love Gael so much and we should get married because he got me pregnant.” Maybe Brielle is just jealous because Gael got me pregnant. “She just smiled and looked at the pregnancy test in her hand again. "I'm excited to be Mrs. Ramirez."

"W-WHAT? Was what you said true Tallulah?" Caroline asked in disbelief after Tallulah confessed about her pregnancy.

"This is not a good joke, Tali," Gilberto said as he sat in the living room next to her mother.

She just bowed and was nervous about her parents' reaction. She nodded. "I took a pregnancy test, Mom, Dad and I were positive," she gently confessed.

"Oh my God, Tali! What did you get into?" said Caroline worried. She turned to her husband. "Hon, what should we do now? Gael got your daughter pregnant and he can't be responsible for our daughter. I don't want her to be disgraced. This is a big shame for our family."

Gilberto gasped. He stood up from his seat and sighed. "Are you not thinking, Tallulah? You didn't even think about what could happen to what you did, the shame it could bring to our family. How are you now? Your studies? Gael's dream? Damn! What What will happen to you now? You are still too young, we still have many dreams for you." There is a trace of disappointment in his voice.

She bit her bottom lip. She looked up at her father. "I want Gael to marry me, Dad. I-I can study after I give birth and Gael can continue his dream while we are married. I will support him."

Gilberto gasped. "Do you hear what you're saying, Tallulah? You think marriage is so easy that you can still do what you want? Once you get married, a lot will change and you think you can still study while you're busy with your child? Will he be able to pursue his dream if his family is what he needs to think about? It's not a joke that you're just living in a house. Tallulah, think before you make your decisions."

"Hon, don't scold her anymore. It's happened and there's nothing we can do but accept everything. It's already there," said Caroline.

"Please, Dad convince Gael to marry me. He can't abandon his responsibility to our child. He has to marry me whether he wants to or not."

"Marriage? Don't you want anything else besides marrying Gael, huh? What if he doesn't agree?"

"Then do everything, Dad, to get him to agree because he has to marry me."

"Tallulah, you're crazy! I don't know what happened to you while you were growing up. Maybe it's my fault too because I prioritized business over watching you grow up. This is not what I'm expecting from you , Tallulah because you are my only child."

"Hon, please don't blame yourself. There's nothing we can do and besides your daughter is right, Gael should be responsible for her. At first we didn't agree to what Tallulah wanted, but this time, the situation is different, Tali is pregnant," Caroline replied. She gently held her husband's hand.

Gilberto shook his head. "I don't want you to be disgraced either, so I will force Gael to hold you accountable," he finally agreed.

"Really, Dad?" She could no longer hide her joy and excitement. She approached her father and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Dad!"

She can't wait to be the perfect Mrs. Ramirez. She is also excited to inform Gael about their baby.

'I won't let you go, Kuya Gael,' she whispered in her mind.
