Millie felt Pierce's cool gaze sweep over her. "See you again."

With that, he left.

It took Millie a long time to regain her senses.

"Millie, what's the matter? Why do you look so pale? Do you feel unwell?" Julian asked.

"I-I'm fine."

At that moment, her phone beeped. It was a text from Pierce. "I want to see you in the underground parking lot in ten minutes."

Millie wanted to cry. She was going to get her retribution.
