Katherine’s POV

The doctor’s words echoed in my head, but I barely registered them at first. "You're pregnant."

Pregnant.

I stared at him, my hands gripping the edge of the examination table. My lips trembled, but then they curved into a slow smile. It wasn’t just shock—it was something more. A strange mix of hope, satisfaction, and triumph.

“When did you find out?” I asked softly, my voice steady despite the storm raging inside me.

“This morning,” the doctor said cautiously, his eyes flicking between my face and the clipboard in his hands. “I wanted to confirm the results before telling you.”

I nodded, brushing a stray lock of hair from my face. “Does he know?”

The doctor hesitated. “I called him right before you arrived. He should be on his way now.”

Perfect.

A soft knock came from the door, and my heart skipped a beat. The handle turned, and there he was—Alpha Henry. His towering frame filled the doorway, his presence commanding as always. But this time, there was something else. C

Tesla’s POVThe smell of roasted meat filled the room, making my stomach churn with a mix of hunger and unease. A plate of food sat in front of me, its warmth seeping into the cool air. It was far more generous than I expected from a rogue pack—an actual meal instead of scraps. A glass of water glistened beside it, the condensation trickling down like a taunt.I needed to eat. My body ached for something nourishing, something to keep my strength up. But the weight of his gaze pinned me in place. The rogue leader—no, their Alpha—sat across the room, lounging in his chair like a king surveying his domain. His sharp, calculating eyes never left me, dissecting every twitch of my fingers, every shallow breath I took.“You’re not eating,” he said, his voice deep, smooth, and far too calm for someone who radiated such raw power.“I’m not hungry,” I lied, gripping the edge of the table tightly to steady my trembling hands. He chuckled, the sound low and dark. “You might be able to lie to your

Alpha Henry’s POV I stood up suddenly, slamming my palm onto the table with enough force to send a few papers flying. My claws almost slipped out of their sheath, the urge to tear something apart burning through my veins. How could they let a single female werewolf slip away like that? They were supposed to be trained, efficient. I growled, my chest tightening with anger. “My guards couldn’t catch one female wolf, and now she’s in enemy territory, of all places. Just perfect,” I muttered, pacing. Every step felt like the floor was shaking beneath me. “Great. Just great,” I gritted through my teeth. I had ordered them to keep an eye on her—Tesla. She was my responsibility, whether I wanted to admit it or not. There was no excuse for letting her disappear. But now she was out there, in rogue lands, and the chaos that would follow would be endless if I didn’t handle it properly. And that’s when it hit me, the one thing I couldn’t let anyone find out. The child. My child. If anyone dis

"I assure you," I said, my voice cutting through the chatter, "this is an opportunity we cannot afford to let slip. For years, we’ve struggled to penetrate Alpha Henry’s territory, and now we have the weapon to do it." I could feel their eyes shift between me and Tesla, who stood at the side, held captive by my guards. She looked defiant, her eyes fierce even though she was clearly restrained. But what caught my attention more than her was the realization of what she represented. This was my chance to take down my rival and claim what should have been mine from the beginning. The murmurs grew louder as the council members exchanged quick glances. They were calculating, weighing their options. I could practically hear the gears turning in their heads. Tesla, the key to dismantling Henry’s empire, was standing right in front of them. My heart thudded with a mix of excitement and anticipation. This was it—the moment everything could change. "This... this could get out of control, thoug

Serena's POVThe moon hung high in the sky, its glow spilling through the large windows of Alpha Henry’s office. I sat in the chair opposite him, my hands resting on my lap, nervously twisting the fabric of my dress. Henry’s sharp, calculating gaze pinned me to my seat, his features set in stone. Whatever he had called me here for was important.“Serena,” he began, leaning back in his chair, his fingers steepled together. “You know I’m glad you’re pregnant. It’s... reassuring. The pack needs a future, and you’ll give me that.”I swallowed hard. His words sounded more like a statement of ownership than affection. “I know, Henry,” I said softly, searching his face for a hint of warmth that wasn’t there. “But why call me here now? At this hour?”He leaned forward, his voice dropping. “Because I need your help.”My heart skipped a beat. Henry didn’t ask for help—he demanded it. The fact that he was framing it as a request was unsettling. “Help with what?”His jaw tightened, and he hesita

Serena pov His sharp, calculating gaze seemed to see straight through me. I swallowed hard, trying to steady my breathing."Tesla," he said, his voice low but commanding, "why is she really here?""She's just a friend," Tesla replied quickly, too quickly. I could feel her tension, and I knew she was trying to protect me, though I wasn’t sure why. "She came to see me."His piercing eyes flicked back to me, skeptical. "A friend? From Henry’s pack?"I felt like a mouse under the gaze of a hawk. "I—I’m leaving," I stammered, taking a small step back toward the door. "I delivered the message. That’s all. I’ll be out of your way now.""You won’t be going anywhere," the Alpha said, his tone final.I froze, my heart hammering in my chest. His words weren’t a suggestion; they were an order."But I don’t want to stay!" The words burst out of me before I could stop them. "I don’t belong here. I—""You entered my territory," he interrupted, his voice cutting through mine like a blade. "I decide

Alpha Henry's POV I paced back and forth, my frustration mounting with every step. Serena should have returned by now. "Where is she?" I muttered under my breath, my voice low but sharp. My beta, Marcus, stood by the door, his arms crossed. "She’s late," Marcus said, his tone matter-of-fact. "Obviously," I snapped, shooting him a glare. "I sent her for a simple task, and she’s not back. What could be taking her so long?" Marcus hesitated before speaking. "Maybe the rogues didn’t take kindly to her showing up. Or maybe…" "Maybe what?" I demanded, stopping in my tracks to face him. "Maybe she’s been captured," Marcus said bluntly. The thought made my jaw tighten, though not out of concern for Serena. She was carrying my heir—my future. If anything happened to her, the child might be at risk. That was all that mattered. "Captured?" I scoffed, waving the idea away. "Tesla wouldn’t harm her. Not if she’s smart. She knows what’s at stake." "Tesla isn’t the only one in rogue territ

Kael’s POVThe sun already up. I stretched, the muscles in my back flexing as I stood, shirtless, at the edge of the bed. The morning chill bit at my skin, but I didn’t mind. The ache in my bones from years of hardship was a constant companion—a reminder of the life I lived. As I inhaled deeply, a familiar scent reached me. Warm, earthy, with a hint of lavender. Tesla. My brows furrowed. She wasn’t a prisoner, not technically, but she had far more freedom than anyone in rogue territory should have. That unsettled me. Prisoners didn’t wander around freely, and they didn’t spark curiosity in me the way she did. But she was here for a purpose—until I found something to use against Henry. Nothing more. Before I could delve deeper into my thoughts, her voice broke through the silence.“You should stretch more often,” Tesla said, her tone light but her eyes trailing over me, lingering a moment too long.I turned sharply to find her leaning against the doorframe, her lips curved into a fain

Tesla’s POVI paced the small room, my thoughts a tangled mess. Had I pushed too far? Kael’s anger was fierce, his words sharp and cold, but underneath it all, I thought I’d seen something else. Pain. But what if I was wrong? What if my curiosity was crossing boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed?I sighed, running a hand through my hair. Maybe I should apologize. Kael was ruthless, but he wasn’t unreasonable—or so I hoped. If I didn’t at least try to mend things, this tense dynamic between us would only get worse.Decision made, I stepped out into the hallway. The air was cool, carrying the faint scent of pine and earth, but my heart pounded as I approached Kael’s quarters. Before I could reach his door, I saw him standing at the end of the hall, his posture rigid, his eyes fixed on something—or someone. Following his gaze, I spotted Serena. She was crouched near a side room, her movements calculated and quiet.Kael’s expression was unreadable, but the tension radiating from him was p

I shouted, my voice hoarse.Kael didn’t need my warning. In a blur of silver, his wolf lunged. The two collided mid-air with a bone-rattling thud, their growls reverberating through the chamber. Marcus's claws swiped wildly, but Kael was faster, more precise. They tumbled to the ground, a tangled mass of fur and fury. I couldn’t tell who had the upper hand as they snapped and clawed at each other, but then Marcus let out a guttural snarl before slumping. Kael's powerful jaws had clamped down on his shoulder, and with a sharp twist, Marcus collapsed—unmoving. It was over. Finally, it was over.I let out a breath I didn’t realize I’d been holding, sinking to my knees. Kael’s wolf rose, his silver fur matted with blood. He shook his head, his piercing gaze scanning the room as if searching for anoth

His crimson eyes gleamed with triumph, his voice rumbling with satisfaction.“You thought you could control me?” Marcus sneered, leaning closer. “You’re nothing, Henry. No one can match me. No one.”I clawed at his arm, gasping, but his strength was overwhelming. My vision blurred, and I felt my wolf cowering within me, retreating.“All the territories,” Marcus continued, his voice cold and calculating, “will fall under my rule. Your petty little packs will bow, or they’ll burn. Starting with you.”Suddenly, a howl echoed through the chamber, cutting through Marcus’s gloating. His head snapped up, and he released me, allowing me to collapse to the ground, coughing and gasping for air.He turned toward the source of the sound, his lips curling into a mocking grin. “Well, well,” Marcus said, his tone laced with amusement. “Kael’s wolf. You’ve claimed it back, have you?”I followed

The ultimate weapon.Tesla stirred on the cot beside me, her lashes fluttering as she began to wake. I crouched down, waiting for the moment her eyes opened.“Ah, Tesla,” I murmured as she blinked in confusion, her disorientation palpable. “Welcome back to the land of the living.”Her gaze darted around the room, and I saw it—the moment she realized where she was. Then, her eyes landed on me. Hatred. Fear. A dash of sorrow. It was all there, written across her face.“Where is he?” she whispered, her voice hoarse.I grinned, savoring the question. “Oh, Kael? Right there.”Her head whipped around, and her breath hitched as she saw him. Kael stood at the far end of the room, his arms tied behind h

Marcus’s massive wolf form prowled through the ruined alley, his growls reverberating through the air like a storm about to break. Jarek’s breathing was ragged, his fear evident as he glanced toward the hospital in the distance. “We can’t keep hiding,” Jarek whispered, his voice barely audible over Marcus’s snarls. “He’ll find us.” I nodded, my mind racing. There was only one way out of this, and it wasn’t one we could both take together. “Listen to me,” I said, keeping my voice calm despite the chaos. “You’re going to run to the hospital. Now. I’ll distract him.” Jarek’s eyes widened in disbelief. “No! Are you insane? He’ll kill you!” “Jarek,” I snapped, grabbing his shoulders and forcing him to look at me. “I’ve faced worse than Marcus. I can handle this. But if you stay here, we both die. You need to go.” He shook his head, his resolve wavering. “I can’t just leave you here—” “Yes, you
