Chapter 155: Change of Mind

Lorcan stood up straight when the door to Celia’s room opened. He approached his parents when they both came out of the door.

“What was that about?” Lorcan asks them in a small whisper so Celia won’t hear them inside the room.

Axel sighed, but his mother said nothing. She slowly closed the door to Celia’s room before stepping forward with a gloomy look in her eyes.

When Lorcan saw this, his brows furrowed. What problem do they have again? What exactly did they talk about inside the room that he had to leave?

Axel fell silent and averted his gaze from his son when he saw the look in his eyes. He glanced at his wife, waiting for her to speak, but she also remained silent. Lorcan’s eyes darted back and forth on his father and mother before settling on Axel when he spoke.

“There is something we need to tell you, son,” Axel breathed out with a heavyweight inside his chest. He burrowed his hands deep inside his pockets to stifle his emotions.

no offense but who needs their child raised in a family like that? they have no morals or loyalty. they are all selfish and stupid. honestly it's so unrealistic because no person would continuously subject themselves to this mental abuse and torture.

I hope she leaves these clowns and finds her strength somewhere else. This story needs to conclude. Going over and over and over with this Celia crap is past the point of redundant. It needs to step up with female lead who is Raven.
