Atlas

“Queen Fae, I don’t think you understand; we’ve been waiting three weeks to be allowed entry into Sansa, denied each time, all because prince Aslan refused to see us, now, I know he has my sister locked up in this castle, and I’m not leaving here without her.”
Queen Fae merely continues tending to her Foxglove fields in her magical garden, which is smack dab in the center of the castle; Noah, Circen, Miera, Eris, and Asher are all standing a small distance behind me, quietly watching as I argue my point with the Queen of the Seelie faeries.
She’s been kind enough to allow us to wash up and change our clothes; actually, she was pretty insistent on it before meeting with us; considering we were posted on that bridge for three weeks and only had the river to bathe in, I thought we all smelt pretty good all things considered.
Queen Fae is a very beautiful woman, there's no mistaking that, but she loves to take her time with things that she doesn't feel is of importance to her.

I’m standing in the doorway of her bedroom, just staring at her; I don’t know why I hesitate, maybe because I’ve waited two years for this moment, and now it’s finally here.
Am I suddenly scared, or is it just nerves?
The moment all the hype downstairs died around Sasha’s decision to accept the Queen’s proposal, Atlas came over to me with a ghost from our past standing beside him, Asher. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but the moment Asher smiled and said, ‘Hey man, your dragon’s pretty badass,’ I couldn’t help but broaden my smile at him. It feels like today is filled with surprises, like Christmas or something.
The Queen told Atlas they should all be ready to leave for the Unseelie Kingdom by morning; Aslan insisted that Sasha sleep in his room. Atlas insisted he stay with Sasha, so picture this or don’t, quite frankly, I would instead not imagine it myself; it’s too weird, but to gain some perspective of how warped this whole situation is; all three of them are

I had the worst sleep; my muscles are aching, and the tension in them drives me insane as I keep rubbing at my neck.
Sleeping in the middle of Aslan’s bed last night with Sasha on one side and Aslan on the other... I mean, you would think he would have instead opted to sleep elsewhere, but the stubborn fuck refused to let up; he probably thought I would cave first and sleep on the couch, but I refused to; there is no way that I’m giving him an inch with Sasha.
“Man, you look like shit.” Turning my head to look up at Noah, the sharp pain suddenly shoots right down my neck and has me wincing in response,
“Yeah, I didn’t sleep a wink last night,” Noah and Circen suddenly start chuckling, and the moment my eyes move over to Liam, who’s standing not too far away from us, his hands wrapped tightly around Lana’s waist, he suddenly grimaces as he gives me a sympathetic look. Smirking, I can only shake my head at him; yeah, buddy, you got to have the best fucking night of your life last

We’ve been walking for what feels like hours, and we haven’t seen nor heard anything yet; it’s like there’s nothing in this wilderness besides dead trees, swampy streams and stale suffocating air. There isn’t a breath of wind, and the silence is starting to drive me insane.
Asher suddenly stops and clears his throat, having both Atlas and I turn to face him in confusion,
“What’s up?” Atlas asks him questioningly,
“I think we should set up camp here and wait it out,” Furrowing my brows, I look over at Atlas in confusion,
“Wait, what out exactly?”
“I know this part of the Unseelie wilderness quite well, and just beyond this section is a place where the mud goblins like to roam,”
“Mud goblins?” I ask him dubiously,
“Yes, they’re flesh-eating monsters who live in the swamps beyond this point; I just think it will be safer if we wait it out a few days before continuing,”
“A few days!?” I suddenly squeak, “We can’t sit around here for a few days; that’s insane. We’ll...” But Atlas ab

A groan escapes my lips as my hand flies up to my head. I feel heavy, my entire body aching all over. The moment my eyes slowly flutter open, I’m steadily taking in my surroundings as a low sigh has my chest rising and falling.
I’m lying comfortably on top of the sleeping bag Atlas, and I have been sharing, and as my eyes begin to travel down my body, I realize that I’m not in the same clothes I was before, which can only mean that Atlas changed me into fresh clothes.
How long have I been out?
The moment my eyes move out towards the small bonfire crackling in front of me, I notice Atlas and Asher sitting beside one another, chatting aimlessly as one chuckles at the other one’s joke. I can’t help the small smile of relief that creeps up at the corners of my mouth because I can vaguely remember what happened, not all of it but a lot of it. The animalistic intimate moment between Asher and me immediately has me grimacing.
Sometimes being a wolf has its downfalls, especially in a c

I’m entirely shattered; my insides feel like they’re on fire, and I know it’s from Atlas’s gutwrenching pain; I’m doing all that I can to try and alleviate his pain and suffering, to take some of it onto myself instead, but it hurts so badly.
I’ve tried and tried to heal him, but it’s not working, and all the while, the gigantic monstrous spiders keep screeching, clicking away, making this horrible noise as they stare down at us, but luckily they can’t get in. I don’t know what made Atlas think of bringing salt; I guess that’s the difference between being an elemental power all his life and me only learning about my abilities recently; I wouldn’t even think to bring something like that.
I’m holding his hand in mine, squeezing it tightly, but he hasn’t opened his eyes for the past twenty minutes, and his temperature is hitting spikes that have me whimpering like a baby in response; I can feel him slipping away, and there is nothing I can do but sit here and watch as my brother

The way Sasha’s looking at me right now after I drained all the puss from Atlas’s wound like I just fucking performed a miracle or something; those adoring universe eyes of hers, blue’s and green’s swirling around with this splash of deep red only has me getting hard for her; and I have to remind myself that I’m here to help get her the fuck out of this realm, not to keep her for myself and fuck her brains out every night of her life.
What an intriguing idea, though, to have her all to myself, the things I could do to her, the many different ways I could make her scream my name. ‘Fuck, stop it, Caleb,’ I internally scold myself as I groan; the fact that I grew a conscious because of this girl pisses me off. I wish I could switch it off, but because Sasha managed to find a way of crawling through the very cracks of my stone-cold heart, she will now forever and always have a place there, safely tucked away, her being the only other person besides her brother, that I give a fuck a

The moment we step through the darkened portal into an open space shrouded by more dead trees, I feel like being sick. I don’t like travelling through portals as it is, but the darkened portal Malvessa just made us go into was unbelievably dark and heavy.

We’re surrounded by mist flowing in from every corner; only then do I see the dark shadow of a gigantic castle in front of me. Whoah!
Caleb is right by my side, and Atlas is on my other side; Asher comes to stand right behind me, and the moment that Malvessa turns around and takes in all three men protectively standing so close to me, she raises a curious brow at me with a devious grin,
“I see you’re into threesomes,” Scowling at her, my jaw clenches,
“Excuse me?” Letting out a low chuckle, she merely spins back around and begins making her way toward the castle entrance, the only lights on this dark and misted bridge being torches strung up on the side rails. Gulp.

It can’t be, it has to be a trick, there’s no way that I can be fated to this girl, how can I be mated to... Vanya.
Just hearing her name in my head makes me rock hard; what the fuck is wrong with me. It feels like I’m losing my goddam mind; I need to know, understand, and get to the bottom of this and make it stop.
After what happened inside that dining hall last night, I can’t think straight. I had to physically stop myself from grabbing her, lifting her onto that table, and claiming her right then and there. I’ve never felt this out of control before, like every part of my body is zapping electrons like a goddam nuclear bomb.
Fuck.
I tried to focus on what was being discussed around that table, but I couldn’t. I can vaguely remember Malvessa and Perseus spewing bullshit about Lisbon’s whereabouts and that they would need some time to see if they could track her down at a price.
Sasha kept looking at me, wanting me to intervene, to do something, say something, but I couldn’t.

I’m standing before her, and my soul is trembling as she looks up at me, those eyes, breathtaking. Swallowing hard, I’ve never felt this way, so vulnerable at the hands of a woman before. I run the back of my hand down her arm until I reach her hand, lacing her fingers with mine; I suddenly feel like I can’t breathe,
“Please, stay.” Gulping, the lump in my throat just doesn’t seem to want to go down, “I can give you more than he can; I can give you the world.” I watch as she swallows hard, her brows knitting together as her tiny frame tenses, and I know what’s coming before she even parts her lips to speak the words,
“Aslan, you deserve someone who can return your love in the exact same way, but that person isn’t me. I don’t want the world; all I want, all I’ve ever wanted, is Wolf.” Hearing those words feels like a sword being driven right through my heart, and as much as I want to deny her what she wants, I can’t. I couldn’t deny this woman anything, even if it broke my hear

My dragon surges through my veins, showing in my eyes; how fucking dare Ronan come swooping down in his dragon form. Eris climbing off his back is the absolute cherry on the cake; what is she even doing with him?
Watching Ronan’s beast shift back into his human form, I immediately pull Sasha to me, burying her face against my chest; she definitely doesn’t need to see him naked. Jeez.
“Put some fucking clothes on,” I shout at him, and he immediately gives me a sinister grin as he raises a brow,
“Well, hello to you too, son.” I instantly cringe,
“Don’t call me that,” I grumble; furrowing his brows with an amused look on his face, he scoffs,
“What, son? But that’s what you are, Atlas, you are my son, and just like me,” Narrowing my eyes on him, I taste the bile rising in my throat,
“I’m nothing like you.” I grumble; Eris comes to stand beside Ronan, handing him some clothes; the grin on her face tells me all I need to know; she truly has gone to the dark side.

Standing before the star circle, I’m glaring at Lisbon as she grins wickedly at me. It's the very early hours of the morning; I wasn't able to sleep and nor was Atlas, so here we are, still trying to convince her to break the curse, but she keeps telling us that she can’t. The moment I hear the door open behind me, I swing around, and a shudder suddenly runs through me when I see him standing there.
Caleb.
My jaw drops as I rake him over, he’s clad in nothing but his jeans, and he’s covered in smears of mud across his chest, his arms, his face; where the hell has he been?
Atlas raises his brows as he smirks in response to seeing Caleb staring past us like he’s some hellhound here to collect a soul or something.

“Do I even want to know why you look like you’ve been wrestling with mud monsters?” Caleb merely narrows his eyes as he continues to stare past us at Lisbon before he leisurely begins walking toward us,
“No.” He responds in a stone cold tone; his eyes trained on Lisbon

She’s been avoiding me...
Since that day when I told her she’s mine when I said that I would protect her from her fucked up mother and brother, she’s stayed clear away from me.

Four weeks, that’s how long it’s been since I kissed her since, touched her soft skin and breathed in her sweet scent. I’m fucking losing it; on the inside, a war is going on that’s ripping me apart.
Malvessa thinks she’s got this all planned out; she wants to give what’s rightfully mine to Perseus. The thought of it is fucking laughable; she messed with the wrong person the day she decided to keep us apart.
She’ll learn that I’m the last person she should want to fuck with.

In between my fucking messy mind, I’ve constantly got Atlas coming to me for answers and asking even more questions like, do I think they should trust Malvessa?
Fuck no!
Do I think he should lock Sasha in the dungeon downstairs with her impending heat?
“Fuck yes!
And now, with Lisbon captured, Atlas is fucking around, strikin

If they honestly think that I’m just going to help them find and summon Lisbon out of the goodness of my heart, then I suppose I should use their naivety to my advantage because, firstly, I don’t have any goodness in my heart, to begin with, and second, I know Ronan’s on his way, just like I know he’ll bring his power stones with him, the man is that cock-sure of himself that I will gladly hand mine over to him, pathetic old fool. He forgets that I made him, gave him a human form to escape the hideous creature that lurks beneath that mask; I can easily take it away.
In a dull world filled with Eve’s, I would rather be Lilith; the story of her wrath always seemed to tickle my interest when I was just a child. Back when my mother taught me the fundamentals of how to get what you want by having my father do unspeakable things to me. Then every one of their Unseelie friends had a turn-in and a hand in the fun; I was handed from one to the next with zero remorse on how it would a

I will find her and bring her back to me; Ronan will die at the hands of my sword if he thinks he stands a chance of taking my happiness from me.
The moment we enter Sansa, I’m striding toward my mother’s quarters with determination. I sent the Aeonians upstairs to shower and freshen up, we’re all covered in the blood of Ronan’s men, and I should probably be doing the same thing, except right at this very moment, I cannot think of anything else besides getting to my precious Sasha before something happens to her.

“Mother?” The moment I enter her quarters, I find her standing before a round table filled with precious little seedlings, the Seelie loves nature; it is our religion, and mother loves to take care of the little ones who need help.
The moment I come to stand behind her, however, she slowly turns around to face me, but when I notice our precious white stone in the palm of her hand, my brows furrow in response before giving her a questioning look,

“Let me get this straight,” I’m irritable as I sit up in bed, running a hand through my long messy hair while Atlas pulls the zipper up of his black jeans before digging in his backpack for a clean grey t-shirt. “She’s the so-called Queen of this godforsaken hell hole, and yet, to her knowledge, she hasn’t a clue where Lisbon is?” Atlas comes and flops himself down onto his back across the bed, turning his head and giving me a little shrug,
“Yup, that’s pretty much how it looks,” My jaw goes slack as I stare at him, my brows knitting together as I smirk,
