Andre's POV
Dale thinks he's got everything to his liking.
Confidently, he arranged an extravagant vacation for both of us, paying for everything himself. And now we are at the airport on our way to the tropical island of Curacao. He gave me our vacation schedule and I only see expensive activities that we will undertake. An island sightseeing in a fully loaded touring bus, water scooter race, ostrich egg hunt and then a romantic boat trip at night. We stay two nights on Curacao before we travel on to Suriname, his homeland where the wonderful black water and traditional Maroon villages await us.
Dale has it all done.
Although I enjoy the mighty sex, I have not forgotten my mission. My focus is to know what he is actually up to, what his relationship is with Clairy and if they are partners in crime. My goal is to protect my son and that is directly linked to the happiness of Aziel and Loraine. If these two are happy, Lorrich's future is brig
Loraine rests her head, eyes closed, against the back of the car.Today she is more tired than the previous days, her pregnancy is really starting to drain her energy. She strokes her slightly bulging belly with a smile on her face. Reminiscing how Lorrich reacted to the news that he is becoming a big brother to two siblings, her heart swells with joy. When Aziel told him the news, he was silent for almost half a minute, then looked at her fearfully before walking over to her. He had lifted his little face worried at her. “Mom, are you okay? Are you feeling alright? Otherwise, daddy and I will go quickly to buy you some fruit, it's no trouble at all”. Loraine had looked at him strangely at first, wondering what he meant by his words.Lorrich had reminded her that she had often felt unwell while pregnant with him. At those times, his daddy Andre had bought her a lot of fruit so that she could have enough vitamins. Now that Andre doesn't live ne
"Aziel, is this true?"With bloodshot eyes, Loraine now looks at her fiancée, who has tears in his eyes. He grabs her and squeezes her to his body as if he never wants to let her go.“Forgive me, Loraine. It was not my choice.” His voice is laced with held-back tears as he hides his face in her hair. “I never wanted to cheat on you. I love you so much. This was a mistake, I swear.” Loraine shakes her head in disbelief. “Clairy? How did you get in touch with her again to the point that you are now expecting a child? And when did this happen? We are always together and in the morning you are at work”, she asks in pain.Aziel swallows hard, he knows he has to come clean now. “I want you to believe me when I say that this was not intentional. I belong only to you, you are my life, you, the twins and Lorrich. I can't lose you, it’s too much." He is a man but now tears are rolling down his cheeks freely. Jus
Aziel's POVLoraine promised me her support in this terrible case, but I don't take it for granted. Enduring mental pressure isn't her forte and now that she's pregnant, this whole affair will take a heavy toll on her. And I don't trust that Clairy at all after she pulled the stunt on Loraine. It's clear she can go far with her destructive attitude if she doesn't get her way. And that certainly won't happen. The only woman I will marry in this life is Loraine, no one else. My children with her are my top priority and I will not be blackmailed by Clairy with the child being forced upon me. It's a real shame that these days women force themselves so much on unwilling men and go so far as to include a child in their reprehensible plans. The child will be the biggest victim in this mess, no matter how I’ll try to minimize it. My haven is Loraine and our children are my life. If Clairy allows, I will also include her child in my family, but Clair
“Loraine's husband calls you and you leave like a trained puppy. What about us? We have vacation plans, Andre!”Dale is furious. He sees his own nefarious plans to win over Andre and eventually strip him off financially later. This extravagant vacation and pampering is an investment for him to recoup later by blackmailing Andre. His first attempt to squeeze millions out of this man failed so he needed a backup plan and Clairy helped him with that. But now Andre's urge to have a life partner isn't deep enough to ignore his friend's needs and go for happiness with him. Loraine and the son he has with her are still the most important thing to him. But after the conversation between him and Aziel, Dale now starts to doubt whether the boy is indeed Andre's. He considers that Aziel and Loraine both have black tops but still Andre has been in Barbados with Loraine all the years.Dale decides to check the tab
With wide eyes, an open mouth and a face dripping with disbelief, Andre listens to Aziel's story. If he didn't know Aziel as a serious person, he wouldn't believe all this, it looks like part of a cheap TV soap. Most painful is the way they informed Loraine of Clairy's pregnancy, it is clear that they are targeting Loraine in all of this. When Aziel has told everything, the pair now look at the screenshots of the conversations between Dale and Clairy that Andre mailed to Aziel. Then everything becomes clear. Here it is confirmed that a payment has been made, Dale's part in all this and what was the purpose of the kidnapping and rape. The doctor who provided the drugs is also mentioned by name.“Aziel, this is serious. Rape is a criminal offense and I think you should report it immediately and not wait for all the evidence to be complete. The police also have the expertise to investigate," Andre insists. “Dale is now on his way to Suriname and Clairy might
“No, no, you can't get in, please” the secretary yells as she runs after a woman who is now entering Loraine's office with long strides. “You must first register and get permission to enter here”. But it is already too late, Clairy is now standing in front of Loraine's desk, giving her a poisonous look. “Loraine! Do you have no shame? I'm pregnant with Aziel but you keep clinging to him. The man now has a child for whom he is responsible. Why don't you seek your son's father so that he can take care of his child himself instead of burdening Aziel?" Clairy is clearly furious, Aziel has rejected her request for maternity allowance so she can prepare for the arrival of their baby. If she still wants to get him to pay, she will now have to go to court, which is an expensive and laborious procedure. And she doesn't have the money for it. Aziel demands a positive DNA test result before spending a penny on her and the child. If the child is his, he ev
When Aziel drives into Windrug&So's parking lot at high speed, he just sees Clairy being escorted to the police vehicle, screaming and cursing. Loraine's secretary has already informed him of what happened in the office and that she handed Loraine a cup of tea that will calm her nerves. He is now very worried about his fiancée, he knows that she is not very strong mentally for this kind of washout. When he runs into her office, he sees her sitting back in her chair with closed eyes.He squats before her, takes her hands in his. “Honey, let's go home. A few hours of sleep will do you good. Don't stress yourself with this case, leave everything to me and Andre, okay?" he whispers to her. Slowly Loraine opens her eyes, nods and quietly lets Aziel lead her out of the building to his car. When he has her safely in the seat and sits behind the wheel, he looks at her intently.“I don't want you to worry about this, my love. The medi
Andre is sitting at the table when he hears the beep from his phone. He's just going through the yacht club's reports. His mood is great because he notices that Rick is doing an excellent job there, actually better than he could ever have done.Ever since Aziel's case came into the public eye, his phone has been ringing like crazy. It is likely that when the press cannot Aziel, they are trying to get information from him. He has promised himself that he will strongly support Aziel in this matter. Now that Dale is involved in the kidnapping, he somehow feels guilty for what happened. He has yet to discover why Dale got involved, refusing to believe that his only motive was financial gain.Reluctantly, he takes his phone and looks at the notification list. Then he sees that Aziel self has sent him a text message. He wants to look into it in case it concerns Loraine. He quickly unlocks the device and presses the notification link. He reads the message and frowns.
Finally!Mrs. Loraine Aziel Renegade. Nice to meet you all out there.Aziel has just sworn his undying love for me in front of a hundred-strong crowd here in the Protestant congregation. Before the God we serve, he promised to always be there for me in good and bad times, share all my sorrows and joys, and never again hide his struggles from me.Yes, we've had a rough time.We both went through a deep hell, but God had mercy on us, we are resurrected and have overcome. And today we start a new episode in life. I’m Mrs. Renegade, the title I aspired to, dreamed of for a long time. And today it has all become a reality. I am the lawful wife of that wonderful, gorgeous man I saw standing by the pulpit waiting for me, who pulled me tenderly by the hand beside him. I love him, have told him so many times. There's only one secret left to share with him, and I'll do it tonight. We are now walking into our reception, Kaylah has organize
When we are inside the room, we indeed see Aziel lying on the bed. It's like he hasn't bathed or shaved in days. He lies there snoring like a sailor.Damian grabs him by the shoulders. “Aziel, Oooh My God! No, man, no!” he exclaims. He gently shakes Aziel until he opens one eye. He looks at Damian blankly and closes his eyes again. “Aziel, we're here, you can't sleep any longer, wake up!” Damian insists. And another eye opens. A hand goes up slowly. “Damian? Aren't you a dream?” he asks hoarsely.I quickly get a glass of water and give it to Damian. He puts it against Aziel's lips. “Drink something, it will make your throat feel less coarse”, he encourages the obviously absent-minded Aziel. There's a sip and another. I go to the other side of the bed and help Aziel sit up straight. “What have you done to yourself? Why didn't you come to me like you always do, Aziel? Running away from problems doesn't solve t
Fellogan's Rolls Royce now comes into view. Little can be recognized of the expensive car, it is a total wreck. Obviously, he flew into the guardrail lost control of the wheel. The paramedics are quick to respond, as is the fire brigade. Because emergency workers are running to the spot, there is little to see of the accident for a few seconds on tv. Until the journalist on-site announces that they have managed to get Fellogan out of the vehicle and he is still alive.“Yes, the assholes in this world have seven lives,” Archer curses. We see Fellogan being transported to the helicopter on a stretcher. His face is bloodied, his head is supported with a clamp. It's clear he's in a lot of pain, but he's holding his ground. We drive on. "Let's hope this doesn't become another obstacle in our friends' relationship," Damian sighs. “Those setbacks always follow each other. What the two need is peace, in their relationship, in their life.”
“Man, this is bad. How did we lose sight of them? This was inevitable, Aziel simply succumbed”, Damian sighs. “We should have been alert when they arrived. Ever since the funeral, we should have forced him into therapy.”We look at each other with guilt.“These two clearly belong together. And that Fellogan also pulled some tricks, which certainly didn't work well on their relationship. Why do I feel like that idiot did it all on purpose?” Archer grinned. “I never liked him. A cheater can never have high morale.”We're going at high speed, the speed cameras have already caught us a few times. But that's for later concern. Virginia is our target and we want to get there as soon as possible. “Archer, turn on the television. I want to see what the media has made of Loraine's case," I ask him. He zips some channels until we do see breaking news. The reporter tries to get the medical staff to talk an
What follows is total chaos.Somehow the press learned that Loraine would be transported by ambulance and amassed outside the house within minutes. Fortunately, her garage is covered, allowing the ambulance to be ushered in and cut off from the outside world. This way we can protect her privacy as much as possible.Meanwhile, Damian and Kenjal have arrived.Kaylah and I ride in the ambulance with Loraine while the others follow with their own transport. The paparazzi follow behind us, it's a madhouse. “Kaylah, would we rather not have transported her per helicopter services? This is crazy!” I ask distraught. The paramedics gave Loraine first aid and placed her under anesthesia. She's pretty weak, she's been on the bed for days, the nurse said. I hit myself on the forehead, why didn't I act sooner? I never thought Aziel would leave, I thought he had the situation firmly in hand. Not so.“We'll handle this, don’t worry.
Andre's POVBoth Loraine and Aziel are out of reach.Their phones are off, they haven't been seen in the workplace for days. Lorrich also asks about his parents, I can't give him an appropriate answer why they haven't called him these days. This is a bizarre situation. In any case, they would have told me if they were leaving the country, even if it was on a business trip. Nor have this couple ever neglected Lorrich, even now that he lives with me. Since we arrived in New York, the two have been struggling with serious relationship issues, and Loraine got her memory back. Attempts by me to mediate failed hopelessly, Aziel could not vent his heart towards me. And as it turns out, not with Loraine either. This won't end well, I can feel it coming at my toes.I have avoided alarming our other friends about what’s happening these days. I know how emotional Kaylah reacts to everything Loraine regards, Rick and Kenjal are Aziel's buddies. No
I have been very restless all day.Yes, I am sexually frustrated, Aziel has been sleeping next to me for days without touching me. But that's not my biggest problem.Aziel is not only physically inaccessible to me but also mentally. He shuts me out completely, when I want to lean against his chest as usual, he turns away from me, when I reach out my hand to touch him, he keeps himself out of my reach.Mentally I'm broken too. What is certain is that we cannot continue like this, we have to solve tense between us ourselves. We can't live without each other, breaking up is not the answer to our problems.Dordrich is to blame, I swear!Very finely, he set up the plan to separate Aziel and me. It already started right at my return at the airport by completely ignoring Aziel. He clearly had a hand in the screenplay set up there. And the news items where I'm in his company are broadcast longer and more often from an angle where we seem to b
Aziel's POVI meant what I said that night. The debacle of my children, the rape, the kidnapping of Loraine and everything that happened after that could have been prevented if I had been more alert. It's all my fault, period! And that Fellogan keeps peddling it in the press, he’s on a mission. I hardly dared to look Loraine in the eye for the past few weeks at home. She noticed the change in me, I see that she suffers a lot. Late at night I even hear her crying next to me in bed. After my confession, everything in the house has changed.Even Lorrich sensed it, he was having a hard time dealing with the changed atmosphere. Andre has come a few times to persuade me to discuss what is troubling me. But I'm not ready to talk about it yet, I have to come to terms with myself first.I feel Loraine's pain, but there's nothing I can do to ease it now. She's mentally too far away from me. We hardly communicate, just sitting at th
The memories return in full force when Loraine enters the house with Lorrich on her arm. She quickly falls on the couch and holds her head. The last days leading up to her amnesia, the stress of Aziel's lawsuit, distraught watching Aziel suffer from the attacks from the media, everything resurfaces. Also, the day she was lured from the hospital by the head nurse and Danner who was waiting for her in the parking lot. “Mommy, what is it?” Lorrich asks concerned when he sees her pained face. She looks at her son, she knows he is too young to understand the evil ways of adults. Aziel, who has just entered, sees Loraine's gray face. "Angel, are you feeling well? You look terrible" he asks concerned. She beckons him to sit next to her and buries her head in his chest. “Everything is back. I have my memory back, my head is pounding", she whispers.A stabbing headache begins to set in, she massages her temples in the hope that it will pass. Quickly, A
