Loraine rushes to pat Aziel on his back.
When he catches his breath, she looks at him strangely. “Hey, how do you know Danner isn't the right guy?” she asks him. Aziel waves it off. “No, I went by what you said. You said yourself that something tells you that he is the wrong face you are looking at," he explains. “I have learned to follow my gut. That is often the most reliable, it is your inner self that never suffers from amnesia”.
Loraine's eyes widen. "Wouldn't he really be my betrothed?" she says, startled and looks at Aziel bewildered. “But then my husband would have been looking for me long ago. We've been together for over two months and no one has even recognized me yet," she muses.
Aziel's heart is beating like a mad man. He doubts whether this is the right time to tell Loraine everything. But then he thinks he has nothing to convince her but his love. He decides to stick to his plan to draw her in emot
The three men have just returned from dinner at the hotel and are relaxed in bed, all busy on their phones. Suddenly they hear an urgent knock at the door, all shoot up in a sitting position and stare in the direction from which the sound is coming.Andre walks to the door and when he opens it Loraine storms in and throws herself on Aziel, crying. Andre shuts the door and leans his back against it as he watches the scene. “Aziel, I'm so tired of this. Why can't I talk to anyone, make friends?” she sobs into his chest. "I feel so lonely, Danner doesn't want to give me the freedom to go out on my own."Aziel holds her tightly against him. “But if you're sick, isn't it better that someone is always with you? That seems safer to me," he tells her. Her sobbing calms down a bit and she turns her face up to him. “But I'm safe with you. I would like to spend more time with you. Do you want to be with me today?” she whispers to him.
Aziel holds his breath, waiting for her complete sentence.“But it feels so right with you. And the warmth of your body feels so familiar,” Loraine finishes her sentence. A happy smile comes across Aziel's face, this is definitely what he had been waiting for since he met her again here in Costa Rica. Her subconscious recognizes him. They were soul mates before, and that proves its strength now. The man can't believe his luck, Loraine now demonstrates to him that he is not a substitute for that Fellogan she was so in love with, nor for the Danner she had already left him for once.“Woman! You don't know how happy these words make me. I've waited years for this confession to really feel like your man," he slips in his euphoria. Loraine sits up but doesn't let him go out of it. “You make those strange comments, Aziel. I get the feeling like you already knew me and kept it hidden. Have you known me for years?” she asks him urgently. Aziel kisses
It is already late when they arrive at the hotel.Loraine walks ahead, not wanting to let Danner know she's made new friends. He has always discouraged that and she fears he will do it again if he knows of the three men a few rooms away from theirs. So, she asked Aziel not to appear together in the hotel lobby.Aziel has agreed to this because it serves him well. He watches her step into the hotel from a distance, right into Danner's arms. The man seems really concerned that she's been away without reporting him for such a long time. 'Serves you right. If you don't give her a phone, she can't call you, jerk' he thinks angrily. Danner holds her tight as she stands like a stiff stick in his arms, really not moved by his show of love. Then they enter the elevator to their room and disappear from his sight.Aziel sighs sadly. Loraine didn't dare decide to go to Barbados with him. He thinks the fact that they've only known each other for just two days makes her doubt. But sh
The men don't hear from Loraine for several days. Also, the couple is nowhere to be seen, but they know they haven't checked out, so they are still staying at the hotel. Aziel has told his friends what he has learned from the bartender. “Maybe we should consult a doctor about this. Isn't it dangerous to stop these drugs abruptly? And will she not suffer any damage to her health from this later?” Andre asks desperately. “That Danner is also an irresponsible man, who would do such a thing without good advice and guidance from an expert? The head nurse is not a doctor or a medicine specialist, for God's sake!" he annoyed.Aziel also holds back. “Man, when I heard it, I had to stop myself from going up the stairs and strangle him. I first thought he was giving her drugs that were the harmless kind as a nurse dispensed them, but when I learned what they are actually for, oohhh Goodness!” he gritted his teeth. “Fortunately, that has now
Kenjal shoots back to reality and sees Aziel and Andre looking at him in surprise. It turns out they've been addressing him for some time while he zoomed out. “Hey Kenjal, where were you? We've been asking you for a while if you're coming. We go to the hospital to see a doctor get information about the medicines and then to the boat to check on Michel," Andre tells him.The men leave for the hospital in their rental car. When they report to the counter, Kenjal reads the names of the doctors on duty that day on a notice board. And there he recognizes the name of an old college friend who was also going to study Law at first but later changed his mind. Kenjal never imagined meeting him here in Costa Rica. He smiles in relief, knowing that his friend will surely tell them the absolute truth in the case."Miss, can you tell Dr. Alpha Clays that one Kenjal Griffith urgently wants to see him?" he asks the employee at the counter. The woman gives hi
When they arrive at the boat, they notice a barbecue party going on among the captains of the different ships. Michel grins broadly when he sees them coming. “Aahhh, now we know why you didn't want to come to the hotel, Michel. The party is clearly at the boats and not ashore," chuckles Andre. The men greet each other with a bro-hug and sit down to join in.Michel brings them some glasses of whiskey, introduces them to his colleagues and the party continues. Later a number of ladies slide in and the group decides to sail to one of the islands for a swim. When they are in the open sea, Aziel goes to the deck and looks thoughtfully over the water. The last time he took a vacation to the Caribbean alone was to vent his frustration after Loraine decided to trade Danner for Fellogan and left him waiting for her again. He then understood that it would take a few more years before he could try again to show her his love. That actually became a reality. And when he finally
Danner suspects I've made friends and is watching me closely. That's why I've been avoiding Aziel for the last few days, I don't want him to get in trouble with this possessive devil. Ever since I met Aziel, I've often wondered if Danner was telling the truth, if we're really engaged. I don't feel anything for him at all, while I met Aziel less than a week ago and am already so attracted to him. And from the look in his eyes, the way he touches me, I know he finds me attractive too.The day we spent swimming on the island was fabulous. His hand kept going to my waist, it was as if he was used to doing that. And me, like a magnet, I kept looking for his body, to lean against, to put my head on while they were chatting, it's unbelievable. Sometimes I also feel like he's met me before. I feel so good with him, he is like my soulmate.Come to think of it, I've asked him more than once if he's known me before and each time he has brushed of
“Loraine? Is it you? I knew you would come”, Aziel exclaims between a number of coughs. His eyes stare at me intently. The next challenge now is to hoist him aboard without the boat capsizing. “Aziel, do you think you have enough strength to get yourself aboard?” I yell at him. I tie the rope to the boat, throw the other end to him. He takes it, and yes, he's getting closer and closer. "Aziel, Aziel", is all I can say when I see him at the boat side now. "Hold on, just a little longer and you're in."After a few attempts, he manages to sit on the back edge of the boat. I grab him by the shoulders to keep him from tipping over and falling back into the sea. He must be exhausted, he was in the ocean for almost two hours. It is still pitch dark but the storm has already passed. Now there are only raindrops that make us soaking wet. Aziel lies on his back on the floor for a while to catch his breath. “Hey, are you feeling better now?”
