Frida

Yesterday's date with Kevin went well. He liked my spaghetti and was very well-mannered in how he ate and behaved. It took him three seconds to figure out I'm living like a European, and I was so pleased when he took off his shoes willingly. Big plus point there, and then he also helped me with the dishes after we finished eating dinner.

He is a nice guy, but perhaps a little bit boring? I kept trying to make him talk and share more personal information about himself by asking him questions. Though, every answer he gave me only consisted of a few sentences. There was no depth to the conversation or over-sharing. Everything was vague, but maybe he was nervous?

I grimace. Somehow I doubt that. Kevin came off as the kind of person that drinks water "fresh" from the store, never from the tap. Likes to travel occasionally, but nothing that feels like he is camping. Not very outdoorsy but goes to the gym. Biggest fear is probably mosquitos. Hobbies include watching TV series with figu

FridaWhen I walk into my apartment after a long day at the gym, Zarah, my roommate, is making dinner. The whole apartment smells like pancakes, and I lift an eyebrow.“Since when do you cook?” I ask, a bit worried since the last time I ate my goth roomie’s cooking, I had diarrhea that stuck around for two entire days.“The guy I’m trying to impress told me he loves homecooked meals, especially breakfast, so I’m following a Youtube recipe for the best pancakes,” Zarah answers and sticks out her head from the kitchen. She is holding a spatula in her hand, and I’m shocked to see that she isn’t wearing black.“What happened to the emo clothes?”At that question, she actually laughs. It shocks me a little since the sadist rarely ever smiles when the two of us are alone. She does it a lot around Madison, though, our third friend in the gang.“I’m widening my horizons, I guess,” she shrugs. “I didn’t think it would be that much of a big deal.”“Since I haven’t seen you wear any other color

From the very first time I met her, something about Frida stood out to me. It isn't just her looks, though. I mean, there's no denying that she is undeniably attractive. She has those beautiful brown eyes and is so petite and cute. I'm usually into taller girls, but I could hardly keep my eyes off Frida. What I noticed about her most is her assertive personality. She seems like the kind of girl who likes to take charge, and I like that.I can't wait to start training her at the gym...The day finally comes, so I start doing some pre-workout stretches in front of my mirror before meeting Frida at the gym.I look back and grin at my favorite squirrel statue: Mr. Bubbles. Frida"And then what did he say?"I smile as Madison looks at me eagerly. After I finished working out with Stanley, I went to see Madison and her little kiddies. Those boys are so freaking cute!"He just stared at me like I was speaking a foreign language and then mumbled something. And after I asked him to repeat, he said he like all girls with all body types," I say.Madison giggles. "That's such a copout answer!""I know, right!" I laugh along with her.Madison and I share a mischievous glance, reveling in our shared amusement. I always love to gossip with her. We are sitting comfortably in her cozy living room, sipping on cups of steaming tea while her children play nearby."He seriously thought he could get away with that line?" Madison exclaims, shaking her head in disbelief. My smile widens. "Oh, but I didn't let him off the hook that easily. I called him out on his clichéd response and asked him for his honest opinion. You should have seen the look on his face!"Madison burst

"He's telling me to leave."Ethan's expression darkens. "We should go, then. Henrik!" he calls out to my brother, who's standing at the punch bowl, chatting up one of the teachers. "We need to leave. Now."Henrik nods, his eyes scanning the room. "I'll go get the car."We rush out of the venue, and Henrik pulls the car around to the front. We jump in, and he speeds off into the night."What's going on?" I ask, my heart pounding in my chest."I don't know. He's in a black tuxedo, and he looks like he just stepped out of a magazine."You look beautiful," he says, taking my hand.I blush, feeling flattered. "He did what!?" she exclaimed.Damien raises his hand. "Now, hold on, I wouldn't call it kidnapping."I keep my smile intact. "It was definitely kidnapping. Some guy just pulled over next to me and told me to get inside the car."Adeline glared at him. "Look, Ethan. I don't care what kind of rivalry your dad and my dad have going on, but I want us to keep being friends. What do you have to say about that?"Ethan smirks and leans toward me. "Friends? I was hoping we could be more than friends."My heart does a little flip inside my ribcage. "Really?"Ethan nods, his smirk fading into a gentle smile. "Yeah, really. I've enjoyed getting to know you, Sheila. You're smart, funny, and we have a lot in common. Sheila I changed my clothes at least three times in less than an hour. I am nervous. No, not just nervous. I am absolutely terrified of the dinner tonight. When Oliver told me he was planning on inviting Ethan over for dinner, my heart plunged to my throat. I tried to say no because I knew what my brothers were up to. They just want to invite Ethan so they can scare him in the comfort of their own home. But for some reason, I couldn't say no. Maybe because seeing Ethan in my house is much more tempting. I make a mental note to myself: I must protect Ethan from the quadruplets' wrath. And so I am standing in front of my wardrobe, looking for the perfect outfit. Nothing screams "I'm not interested" more than a casual T-shirt and jeans, but I don't want to seem too eager either. I try on a white summer dress with delicate lace details that fall perfectly around my curves. But then again, it's too girly and Ethan might think I'm trying too hard. So I put on a pair of slim-fitting j

I am older than you.""I don't give a hoot how old you are," she growls."What's all this commotion here?" Our father, Victor walks in and asks."Sheila is screaming at me because I scared her little date at the museum," I say gruffly.Dad scowls. "Date? What date?"Sheila's face turns pale. I can tell she is caught off guard as she didn't want to tell our father about her dating boys already. Hmm...I feel bad for her now. "She is trying to get a date for the Prom, Dad, that's all," I say in her defense."Okay...so what's the issue here?" Dad asks.
