34. The Freezer

The blissful days spent in Portugal with Victor were like a dream come true. Sunsets over the coastal hills, salty sea air, and days filled with love marked our stay in that breathtaking land. Part of me never wanted to leave that place.

But unfortunately, everything good must come to an end. We had to fly back home yesterday, and reality has set its sharp claws into my skin today.

Ugh, I can't believe I'm already working tomorrow.

I'm horrified by the thought and lounging on the couch while feeling sorry for myself. Victor is already back at the restaurant. As the big boss, he can't be gone for too long. But at least he was nice enough to give me an extra day off since I haven't been feeling well.

It's been a few weeks since my last period, and I've felt strange lately. I'm constantly tired, and my appetite is off. Plus, there have been other symptoms that make me think that I may be pregnant.
