"FIRST OFF, I would like to lay this down and say that the reason I didn't come back fast is because the Fairy Queen is keeping me from meeting her. Basically, avoiding to meet me to keep me there longer." Alesteria laughed at Parie's words as she nodded fondly, her eyes into crescents as she remembered how the Fairy Queen adored Parie. To the point where Parie would be gone from weeks on end because she would deliberately avoid meeting her to keep her in her palace. "She hasn't change, has she?" Alesteria commented after laughing. Parie crossed her arms and pouted. "I don't think she'll change even after a millennium." Klaus paused for a moment, turning to Parie as he curiously asked. "Is the Fairy Queen like how the books depicted her?" Alesteria and Parie simultaneously shook their heads. "Not even close!" Alesteria has just gotten out of the bath and Klaus volunteered to dry her hair for her, which is why he is present in their conversation whilst Alesteria already sent t
AIMILIOS SMILED at Alesteria, his eyes solely on her as he passed by Klaus, ignoring him in the process, as he went straight to her while holding what appears to be a pile of documents. "Why are you here? I mean, it is late." Alesteria looked at him confused, her eyes glancing between him and the documents he placed on her bed. Aimilios noticed this and he chuckled warmly at her confusion. "I'm here to ask you some things." He replied as his eyes darted to Klaus; his smile disappeared for a moment there. Klaus senses that Aimilios wants him to leave, seeing that he was almost telling him to go away with his facial expression. Klaus understood this, clearly, as he turned and bowed towards Alesteria. "I'll be by the door, your highness." Klaus left the room after that and as soon as the door closed, Aimilios gave Alesteria the documents and she read it; scanning every single one as her eyes slowly widened, snapping her head towards Aimilios as she blinked. "This..." She trailed
FOUR YEARS later... Carlo sighed as he opened the door, not surprised by what greeted him when he did so, as the only person responsible for it has been staring outside in a solemn manner. He cleared his throat first before speaking "Your highness, there is a package addressed to you." Carlo said as he went inside Enzo's room, avoiding the shards of what was once vases and glassware’s that decorated his room. Enzo, who is in front of the window as he held a wine glass filled to the brim with wine, turned his head to Carlo as the latter saw his figure. He is wearing a black loose long sleeve top, the buttons opened from his chest to his stomach, showing his abs and muscles, partnered with a black pants as he stood there barefooted. "What is it?" He asked, his voice a little hoarse as he did so, not bothering to look at Carlo. After returning to Hydrexion exactly four years ago, Enzo has been punished by the King for failing to do what he is intended to do, just because the prince
KLAUS TRIED to come back as soon as he handed over the package to Enzo's aide, Carlo, not caring if it is given to the prince of Hydrexion or not. Though, Klaus knew how loyal that servant is, so he didn't feel the need to check after. He also didn't stay a minute longer after that since he wanted to tell Alesteria the news. He traveled back the same day, but without using any mana nor magic to move fast, he can only arrive by the next day early morning. Klaus didn't use any teleportation scrolls too, since they are so hard to come by even for the royal family, so he could only travel by horse and even that took a toll on its body. Nevertheless, as soon as Klaus is back, he went straight to Alesteria's room. When he opened the door, a young lady with blonde hair and ocean blue eyes stared at him as she sat there elegantly; the once small figure changed into a young woman as she smiled at Klaus while putting down her book. An image of a small child, in the same position sipping t
"WHAT ARE we going to talk about?" Parie glanced at Klaus, who just came out of the bath and is wearing more comfortable clothes other than his shadow knight clothes, more like a dark brown short sleeve top and pants. Parie sat on the wooden bedside table Klaus has, which only occupies a vase with a flower on it, as she crosses her arms. "Well, there are many things we would talk about but first..." Parie started as she motions for him to sit. Klaus sat down on the bed, a single bed with two pillows and a green blanket, as he turned to Parie and stares at her Parie cleared her throat first before continuing. "Now that you and I are acquainted, there is something I would tell you about the mystical realm." Klaus whole body froze at this as his heart thumped wildly in his chest, his hands slightly shaking. He had known this day would come, where either Parie or Alesteria would tell him about the mystical realm as well as what there is to know about elves. Klaus had known he has
ALESTERIA HAS heard it all, from start to finish, recalling how Parie kept trying to deviate the topic somehow as if to buy time for herself to prepare telling Klaus. Alesteria is in such a good mood that she decided to roam around the capital, avoiding the central market, as a wide smile is plastered on her face. The reason for that and her happy mood is because of what she heard in Klaus' room, when Klaus finly learned who she is and how he offered his loyalty by swearing the pledge of roses. The pledge of roses is an oath that needs a medium for it to work while that medium gives the one doing the pledge an approval from the Gods. It is commonly done when someone wanted to swear to keep any secrets they might learn to the grave, which is different from God's pledge. She was there when Klaus did the pledge of roses and heard his response, which puts her in this good mood for the rest of the day. Though, it took a whole lot of convincing in her part to even make Parie agree with
ICH WAS compelled to go out that day, something in his gut is telling him that he should as he walked down the central market up to the street where more cafe and flower shops are located. In a distance, he can see the cafe he and Alesteria went to in the past along with Klaus, which makes him recall that memory. It has been four years, and in those years, he and Alesteria have been closer than before; exchanging letter every now and then when they both have the chance to which kept them updated in each other's lives. They both agreed to do that since they did have a misunderstanding before, resulting in a week or more of them not meeting each other to test the waves. Alesteria did come up with this and Ich found this reasonable, leading to them talking in letters and meeting up whenever as they keep each other in reach. They still see each other for the past four years, but they both have their own agendas now and different paths to walk on. Ich decides to gather information bas
"ARE YOU alright? Do you want to eat or drink something?" Alesteria stared at Ich as he moved about in the kitchen, seeing that he was busy finding things made Alesteria think that he doesn't visit the kitchen that often. "No, it’s alright." She said as she sat more comfortably in the chair. Ich doesn't seem to hear it since he is busy rummaging through the cupboards to find even a mug but didn't see anything. So, he clicks his tongue in annoyance as he continues to look. After what happened earlier, Alesteria was dragged to Ich's house, and they went straight to the kitchen. The house is practically empty since Nadia and Neo have business outside as they left Ich to guard the house while they are gone, as Ich told her. Alesteria removed her illusionary magic by the time they arrived in the house, deeming it unnecessary since Ich can see through it. Anyway, Alesteria looked at Ich, still looking around, as her eyes trailed over to the kitchen counter and saw what he was looking
