Noah watched as they hugged each other.

They might’ve been siblings, but that didn’t stop him from feeling jealous of Liam. Gwynn should only ever embrace him and no one else.

The snow started melting as the sunlight beat down on them.

Noah and Liam stared at each other fiercely, fully intending to fight again.

Realizing that they were about to have another scuffle, Gwynn gripped her brother’s sleeves and begged softly, “Don’t do it, Liam!”

His heart softened whenever he heard his sister’s pleas.

Unwilling to make things difficult for her, he looked at Noah and sneered. “Come right at me if you still harbor hate for me, Noah. You’re a lousy excuse of a man to take it out on ladies!

“Gwynn has said that she wanted to stay. So, I’m not going to force her to leave. However, if you keep sleeping around and let the other ladies hurt her, then I’m going to make you pay, even if it means sacrificing myself. Don’t test my patience!”
