Chapter 654

A breeze blew past Noah. It was summer, but that didn’t stop him from feeling a chill down his spine.

His mind traveled back to when he took the forms for the checkup from the nurse and said to Gwynn,

“They’ll draw quite a lot of blood from you. I’m going to stay by your side tomorrow. I know how afraid you are of needles.”

“Let’s live happily from here on out!”

Then, Gianna’s heart started having some issues. He decided to stay with her and asked Gwynn to call for some of their servants to keep her company instead.

How could he have done that?!

Rushing back into the car, he hopped in and tore through the streets, desperately making his way to the hospital.

What on earth was he thinking?

Gwynn must’ve known she was ill much earlier, but she didn’t say anything about it. Had she been waiting for the moment of her death? Had she been anticipating the sweet release that it’d provide her?

He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn’t notice the traffic light turning red
