Out of nowhere, Noah lost his temper.

Walking over to the dining table, he said dryly, “Get dinner ready.”

It was a New Year's Eve dinner. So, the servants prepared a big meal for the occasion. They went in and out of the dining hall, serving dinner on the dining table. Gladys went upstairs to fetch Gwynn a nightgown. Then, she helped her mistress to sit next to Noah.

She even whispered to Gwynn, “Keep Mr. Noah happy. He brought Lorian here just for you. Don’t make him regret doing it.”
