Lisa wasn’t going to let him go that easily. Instead, her words became harsher and harsher.

It got so bad that Westley lost control of himself and barked, “So many years have come and gone, but you haven't changed in the least! You’re still so mean and nasty!”

Lisa was about to retort when she heard footsteps from the door. It was the sound of leather shoes stepping on the marble floor, crisp and pleasant.

Both of them shut their mouths and didn’t say another word.

Walking in slowly, Mason stared at them quietly. After a brief moment, he asked, “Why did you guys stop? You were fighting with each other quite fiercely. Go on. Arguing activates your brain cells, which, in turn, helps stave off dementia!”

Then, he climbed upstairs to get changed.

Both Westley and Lisa blamed each other for that.
