Chapter 432

Mason sat in his wheelchair and watched as they left.

All of a sudden, his mind traveled back to the moment in time when Zoe used to ask for one hundred thousand dollars from him timidly. Back then, he used to think she couldn’t stand on her own feet and had to rely on him for everything. Now, however, she was like a rose, beautiful but sharp.

The evening light cast an orange, fiery glow across the entire sky, as if heaven itself was on fire.

The silver Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled out of the manor slowly. Mason started feeling hollow inside. In the end, she still left him alone.

The brief meet-up today did nothing but make him more eager to see them again.
