“Are you ready?” asked Michael as he welcomed Helena into the living room. Today was Helena's first court appearance after many trials in her absence. Helena's recovery and other considerations had kept her from showing up. But for today, Helena would not miss it.

“Of course.” Helena smiled broadly. “I'm really looking forward to this day. And I think everyone who's going to be involved today is just as excited as I am.”

“I can feel it since the last few days.” Michael invited Helena to walk ahead of him. He offered to carry the bag containing the files to be presented at the trial. As was Michael's habit whenever Helena carried a lot of luggage - the man did not hesitate to help. It was not uncommon for him to make sure that Helena was comfortable and safe with her steps while by Michael's side.
