ICE’S POV:
"Princess, just stay here in your room. Don't go out, okay?" Mom reminded me while having tearful eyes despite smiling at me. I don't know what's happening but I know something is wrong.
I just nodded. He smiled again then kissed me on the forehead.
"Always remember that we love you so much," Dad said to me and kissed me on the cheek.
I just stared at their backs as they were obviously in a hurry to get out. I was alone in my room, feeling cold and confused. After a few minutes, I heard a lot of loud gunshots and explosions so my eyes immediately widened.
I began to panic and went to the window to look at what was happening outside. I saw mom and dad kneeling in front of a man and that man was holding a gun while pointing it at my parents.
Later, he suddenly shot my mom and dad in the head as my eyes started to widen in shock. I looked at the man's face and remembered it carefully.
I want to get out but I promise my parents that I will stay in my room so I just waited for them to leave and then I left the house to see my parents’ bodies.
I slowly kneel and silently cry in front of their bodies. From that time on, I promise myself that I will make them pay. All of them and no one can survive.
"Ahhh!" I shouted and sat up. I Immediately wiped the sweat off my forehead as I panted and tried to calm myself. Damn, another nightmare again.
I checked my phone. It's already 6:00 in the morning so I got out of bed then put on a sports bra and sweatpants. I also wear my black sports shoes and go to my gym here at home.
I did 1,000 push-ups and 1,000 curl-ups and sweat started to appear all over my body, so I took a shower after. I just dried my hair and wore a black plain T-shirt, a black leather jacket then black ripped jeans together with black vans shoes.
I have also packed the things that I needed to take for my flight later. I needed weapons so I decided to go and visit a certain room. I entered my office and locked the door before I walked near the center of my bookshelf.
I moved one of the books from the shelf where it serves as the secret opener of that room. A small computer suddenly opens which I can enter the correct password and after that, I have to go through the fingerprint detector to finish the process.
After entering all of the needed requirements, this big bookshelf was immediately split in the middle. I went straight in and it immediately closed at the same time as the lights turned on inside.
I looked around and smiled. My secret room was composed of advanced computers, outfits, masks, boots, antidotes, and weapons that I invented.
They are not just ordinary things because they all have an associated risk when you do not know how to use them.
There is also a door that leads to the underground where the advanced cars and big bikes that I also invented are located.
When I got inside I immediately went to a wall here where I was placing my weapons.
I held up a picture frame attached to it on the wall and looked at it thoroughly. It was my and my parent's picture that was taken during my 8th birthday. I examined their faces and realized that I already miss them both so much.
I looked into their eyes and sighed as I took a mirror under the picture frame. I also looked into my two eyes there. I smiled bitterly when I saw those two familiar orbs again. My eyes reminded me of my mom and my dad. My dad has green orbs while my mom has violet orbs. Me? Well, I have those orbs.
A green orb on my left eye and a violet orb on my right eye. But when I became angry, both of my orbs became dark red.
I don't know why my eyes are like that but I didn't bother to know because my eyes are precious and very important to me. I just wear contact lenses so that my eyes can't be seen by my opponents.
I also learned that my parents were not the target of those people who killed them but me. Yes, me and my eyes.
I don’t know why but I can only think of one. They want to use this for their experiment, and my parents don't want that to happen so they hid me.
About my parents, even a few years later, the pain is still here hunting me. Every night since that day, I am always locking myself inside my room and silently crying, mourning their deaths.
But one day, I told myself that I need to be strong and not show any weakness. Since then I haven't cried or even smiled towards other people. I became cold just like my name, Ice.
I sighed and opened the big picture frame and got my guns and other weapons I will need behind it. Then I closed it again and went out of my secret room.
I went back to my room and put ten daggers, 5 swiss knives, 10 guns, and 10 shurikens on it. I even placed five daggers and shurikens which I picked up again and placed them on the back of the pants I am wearing. I need that in case anyone tries to take my life when I go out.
I took a glance at my watch, it's already 9:00 a.m. so I took my bag and got off. My maids had already prepared some food for me so I ate right away and left the mansion.
I drive my white Lamborghini to the airport I own. Aside from my mafia, I also have businesses and young entrepreneur billionaires in my generation.
I'm using the identity, Heaven Vergara in the business industry while everyone knows me as Ice Empress in the mafia industry.
If I am a normal person, my identity is known as Ice Angel Velez. I have to confuse many people. It's for grandpa and my safety.
When I arrived at the airport I was immediately taken care of by my staff. I also boarded the private plane that was always reserved for me.
It was about an hour before we arrived in the Philippines. As soon as I stepped on the ground, I immediately looked around and smelled the scent of both dust and pollution but I didn't care.
I fixed my clothes and sighed, "This is it, I'm going to make my plan as easy as cake!" I mumbled and left that place.
ICE’S POV:"Mommy!" I heard History's excited voice echoing through the house, and I couldn't help but smile. I knew he, along with his dad, Iciest, and his brother, Chronicles, were eagerly waiting for me and our little angel, Legend. With a fond shake of my head, I anticipated History's imminent arrival in the room that Iciest and I shared.I glanced at my 2-year-old daughter, her vibrant violet and green eyes meeting mine. She had inherited those striking eyes from me. Gently, I dressed her in a beautiful blue dress, carefully placing a delicate white flower tiara on her head before braiding her hair. It was a marvel to think about the journey that had led to this point—after everything that had transpired, the unexpected gift of another baby had caught Iciest and me by surprise. Recollecting a past conversation with my two older children about their desire for a third sibling once their parents reunited (which, unbeknownst to me at the time, referred to me and Iciest), I had decid
ICE’S POV:As my arms encircled him, I could feel his body tremble beneath my touch. It was clear that his façade was cracking and that the tough exterior he tried to project was giving way to the pain he held within. I gently turned him to face me, his tear-streaked face a testament to the battle raging inside him."It's going to be alright, brother," I murmured, my voice a steady anchor amidst the storm of his emotions. I held his gaze, willing him to believe my words. "Your sister will not leave you again." His eyes, usually so guarded, seemed to soften with a glimmer of hope as our connection deepened.Yet, as we stood there locked in our embrace, something shifted in Grayson. His defenses crumbled, and the floodgates he had erected against his feelings began to open. The sound of his sobs, raw and heartbreaking, reached my ears, and I felt a pang in my chest. This was his pain, his vulnerability laid bare, and I was honored that he chose to share it with me.Tears welled up in my
ICE’S POV:Guns were drawn, tension hung thick in the air, and it seemed like a standoff was about to erupt, but amidst the pointed weapons, only Zia and I stood without weapons, locked in a chilling gaze. With a wry smile, Zia's voice slithered forth, her words carrying a mocking tone: "Well, isn't this a cozy gathering? Traitors' offspring all grown up. What a delight."My response wasn't as amusing as hers. I fixed her with a cold stare, my voice cutting through the tension like a blade. "Why drag me, my brother, and those who matter to me into this? What's the point of involving us in the tangled mess our parents made that wasn’t our problems in the first place?"Zia's laughter rippled, a bitter melody in the midst of the charged atmosphere. She fired back, her tone dripping with sarcasm, "Oh, come on. Did you really expect me to roll out the red carpet for you just because your parents are the culprits and it doesn’t include you?"I didn't grace her question with an immediate ans
THIRD PERSON’S POV:On the other side, "Calvin, Travor, and Kiana reached the main entrance, spotting guards converging on the control room."Calvin whispered, "We're not too late. Let's go."They engaged the guards in a swift and calculated skirmish, taking them down one by one with a combination of martial prowess and precision.Travor took down a guard as he whispered, "Marcus and Jerry must be in trouble. We have to hurry."Kiana knocked out a guard as she mumbled, "Agreed. Let's clear the way."On the other side, Alfer, John, and Daryl pressed forward, their movements fluid as they navigated the dimly lit corridor.Alfer checked the corners as he mumbled, "Keep pushing. We're almost there."Suddenly, a group of guards rounded the corner, spotting the infiltrators.John smirked as he mumbled, "Looks like we've got a welcoming committee."Daryl cracked his knuckles as he muttered, "Let's give them a taste of our skills."A fierce battle ensued as the infiltrators clashed with the g
THIRD PERSON’S POV:The group wasted no time, moving with calculated precision. Zee sat hunched over a bank of monitors, fingers dancing across the keyboard as lines of code scrolled across screens along with Taylor.Arthur leaned against the wall, his gaze fixed on the surveillance feed showing the imposing structure of Zia's base across the street. Luke tinkered with a small device on the table, his earbuds plugged in as he kept an ear on the team's communication while Jaycel was just on the side watching them.Zee muttered to herself, "Alright, I've patched into their security network. I can see the guards patrolling the perimeter."Arthur replied, "Keep an eye on the guards' patterns. We don't want any surprises."Luke nodded his head with a sighed as he mumbled, "I've got the signal jammers set up. Their comms won't be working."Meanwhile, outside the hotel, Zian smiled as he happily said it into his earpiece as he lured the guards. "Hey, have you guys heard about that new virtua
ICE’S POV:Inside, an ensemble of guards stationed throughout offered their respectful greetings. It was a familiar routine, and their commitment to our children's protection never wavered.Venturing deeper, we were met with a heartwarming sight. On the couch, our two children were engrossed in their tablets, undoubtedly lost in the world of their game company—an endeavor they had taken upon themselves. My throat gave a subtle cough as we entered their line of sight. In response, their heads snapped up in a mixture of surprise and sheer delight. The room was alive with a sort of controlled chaos. I watched as History hopped off the sofa with a reckless enthusiasm that sent a pang of worry through me. His father's voice, laced with pure concern, rumbled like a soothing undertone, "Be careful, baby!"Chronicles, his older brother, didn't hold back either. His words came out in a stern, almost icy tone, but beneath that frostiness, concern flickered like a hidden flame: "Slow down, Histo
