Chapter 56

Kevin bumped into Louisa that morning at the coffee shop. These past days she had still been stubborn and Kevin kind of missed her but he didn't want to accept it.

He grabbed her by the hand the moment she walked past him like he didn't exist.

"Louisa" He called, his voice gentle and firm while he gripped her. " I thought we had talked about this, " He groaned. His pride got hurt a bit that she tried to ignore him. The same Louisa that stalked him.

Louisa gently shoved his hands " I have nothing to say to you " She glared at him and strode off the coffee shop. She came out and heaved a sigh. Her heart had been thumping unwittingly. She gasped for air, deep down she missed him, all she wanted to do was dive in his embrace when she saw him.

She got more disappointed when she looked back and he wasn't coming after her. ' Have I played too hard to get ' she thought, looking back to see if he was coming. But he didn't. She hissed and started walking.
