“I don’t want to go back home.” I pouted as we strolled on the streets, it was risky but our guards surrounded us.

“But we can’t stroll around like this for long. Our kid is waiting at home.” Tristan said pecking my hand.

“Hmm, I want to spend some time with him before we call it a night.” I said. Everything feels like a dream. I finally managed to confess my love for him and his reaction was priceless. I know he won’t leave my side forever.

“Let’s go back to our car. We’ll buy some burgers and fries for the kids.” He said and we made our way back to the restaurant. Tristan was holding my hand protectively.

We bought the burgers and fries from a food truck before moving towards our car when my phone rang and I asked Tristan to wait. The caller id showed my grandparents’ landline number. My heart leaped, I wasted no time in swiping the green button. After the sour encounter with grandpa at office, I thought it was from him.
