[ Claire ]

I took a relaxing bath after a long, eventful day and changed into my night pyjamas. I stared at my heat cheeks, the blush was visible because I was fretting with the thought of sleeping on the same bed as him.

But I couldn’t stay inside the bathroom for long or he’ll suspect. As far as I know him, he’d again offer to sleep on the couch. It’s his property and I don’t want him to feel any discomfort. So, after debating for some time, I slowly stepped out of the bathroom. He was on a call but his half naked body was visible to me, his trousers hung low on his waist.

His back was facing me, so he didn’t see me. I gulped hard, I could feel my core clenching as he was a sight for sore eyes, the way his muscles flexed, I ached to touch those perfect abs. And suddenly, he turned around and we came face to face.

Our eyes met and he disconnected the call. I gaped at him with slacked jaws and wide eyes.

“Since when are you standing here?” He asked me in a smooth voice.
