Sleeping on the same bed

[ Mavis's POV ]

I got a call from my Mom a few hours after Denise left my office, and thanks to her, my headache came down.

"Hello Mom"

"How are you son?" She asked.

"I am fine mom. How are you?" I asked. I didn't get the chance to talk to my mom after Jake's party, and I am sure she must have been worried about me because my dad slapped me in public.

"I am fine son. Are you at the office?" She asked.

"Yes I am at the office"

"I am at your mansion and I can't find Denise, did she go out?" My mom asked. I wondered why Denise wasn't at home yet, because she left my company a few hours ago, which means she should be home by now, or is she still taking a walk like she said she would?

"She was here at my company earlier, maybe she dropped by her mom's house, I will be back in the house before you know it" I said.
