[ Denise's POV ]

Hearing Jake say he is going to marry me really surprised me, because I wasn't expecting him to say such a thing. "Does that mean he still loves me?" I asked myself. I only got back to my senses, when Jake tried to kiss me. I pushed away slightly, and I stood up from the swing.

"You want to marry me?" I asked, just to be sure if I heard him correctly.
