Do you love Mavis

[ Denise's POV ]

It was my first day working as an intern in Mavis's company, but it was so exciting. Beatrice and her team are really nice, so I was able to bond well with them. She wasn't just good at cooking, but also knew how to crack jokes, and with how she talked and interacted with me, made the lecturing so fun.

Beatrice and her team wanted to address me as ma'am, since I was Mavis's wife, but I told them not to. They didn't agree to it at first, but after much pressuring, they decided to call me by my name. I was able to learn a lot of dishes, some which I didn't know existed. I pay attention to everything I was taught by Beatrice and her team, because I want to do my best, so Mavis won't regret helping me.

I'm going to tell my mom and sister about what Mavis is doing for me, at least to thank him for what he is doing for me. It's not easy sponsoring someone you don't like. Even if I and Mavis no longer argue or fight like we used to, that doesn't mean he likes me.
