Did something happen to my child

[ Mavis's POV ]

I was so happy when Denise called me that she was at home waiting for me. I was so worried when I couldn't reach her or know where she was, and I couldn't stop myself from crying. I don't know what Denise has done to me, but anytime she's in pain, I feel it too, and knowing she's sad will make me sad too, that's why I couldn't stop myself from crying earlier when I wasn't able to reach her.

I wasn't even paying attention to the work I was supposed to do, because I was occupied with worries about Denise, but after she called me, I was happy and my mind was set at rest, and since Denise said she was waiting for me at home, I quickly left the office in a rush. I had so much joy in my face as I rode home. Denise isn't mad at me, she understands me perfectly as to why I dragged Ava out of the meeting room.

As for Ava, I don't want to think about her right now. I still haven't asked her how she survived, because I am preoccupied with the thoughts of Denise. She is so importa
