A new beginning

[ Mavis's POV ]

Denise and I arrived at the beach, and my excitement grew. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always loved going to the beach. If you ask me why I love the beach, I won't be able to give you a definite answer as to why I love going to the beach. I just love coming here, and there's nothing I can do about it.

"Wow is this what the beach looks like?" Denise asked, smiling.

"You have never been to the beach?" I asked, and Denise shaked her head.

"No I haven't. I only got to see what a beach look like through pictures and magazines. Come to think of it, I have never had the chance to see the sites of world. I don't have the time and even if I had the time, I'd spend it on working and assisting my mom and providing for my little sister, Angela" Denise said.

"Was it hard growing up?" I asked, feeling sorry for Denise. Denise spend most of her childhood working, and I could remember sucking up to my mom when I was still a kid.
