Max didn't want to talk about their problem when Tally was around so she asks a favor to her ex-boss, Asher, that they can talk outside.
Asher agreed and told Tally that he will get back again to buy her an ice cream.
"Take care, uncle. I hope you can come on my birthday." She said and that's when he realized that Max's daughter will celebrate her birthday soon.
He smiled at her and he promise to come on her birthday.
"Sure, I will come. May I know when is your birthday?", he asked her, and Max's daughter told him excitedly.
" On Monday. I don't know if I have a cake since mom told me that her boss didn't pay her after she resigned. What kind of boss is that?", Tally said and Max heard it.
She felt embarrassed about it since her daughter didn't know that the person she was talking to was her ex-boss.
