Max POV
We went back to my office after our boss Asher scolded us for the outcome of our designs. He told me that we can talk about it later and that made me nervous. What if he will fire me and called out the guy whom he disqualified on the interview?
My forehead is sweating right now. My throat runs dry and I keep touching it and cleared my throat frequently like I can't do a deep voice and I don't know what's happening to me.
I saw Russ rushing towards me with his calm face. I hope that this is good news.
"What are you doing here? Something happened?", I asked him.
Russ sat in the empty chair near my desk and took a deep breath first. He's catching his breath like someone is trying to catch him.
