The restaurant by the harbor had a perfect view of the docking boats, the gleaming bay, and night skies.
It was located on the 30th floor of a commercial complex, sitting a block away from the docks.
Many guests were in line to have dinner at the said restaurant, but Kyle, being the CEO of the franchise, was assisted through a secluded area, offering a perfect and romantic view of the bay.
And to further ensure their privacy, all the surrounding tables were emptied, just for Kyle and Gabriel's supposed test dinner.
So far, the experience left Gabrielle impressed, feeling like she was on an actual date.
"Wow, the lobster looks so delicious!" While Gabrielle expressed excitement about that evening's main dish at the back of her head, she was truly worried.
Warren rarely took her to a fine dining restaurant, and she absolutely had not experienced eating a lobster with a knife and a fork!
So far,
Gabrielle laughed at the idea of considering their dinner as a "date." She thought to dismiss it, thinking Kyle was just creating a venue for a laugh. She said while feeling her face warm, "Sure, Kyle. Anything you say. You definitely get a hundred points!" "Hmmm," Kyle responded. "I take that seriously." "The restaurant is amazing!" Gabrielle announced. It was her way to move away from the topic, feeling embarrassed. The two shared a few more exchanges, talking about the restaurant, but soon Kyle pardoned himself, leaving Gabrielle in her seat. "Excuse me, Gaby. I just need to check on the kitchen, as well as with the restaurant manager." While waiting, Gabrielle took pictures of the harbor view. She especially took some selfies as she was at it. An idea suddenly crept into her mind, watching the romantic atmosphere in her photo background. She bit her lip and eagerly uploaded the picture to her social media account and the photo availa
The next day. The sound of the alarm woke Gabrielle up at five in the morning. She got up hurriedly, despite how heavy her eyes were. Last night, after a moment of getting cold shoulders from Kyle, he told her; he had an emergency business trip to Europe and that he was leaving at dawn. While Kyle insisted that she did not have to aid him, she took it upon herself to get up. She was grateful for her newfound employment and she wanted to help in any way. Rushing out, however, she saw a note on her door from Kyle and it read: [Gaby, Sorry about last night. I wasn't myself. I had to head out earlier. I'll be back on Friday. Don't forget to eat your meals. Rest and make use of the gym. I'll call you when I get a chance. Kyle] Her mouth easily formed into a circle. She bit her finger before saying, "Why does it sound like he was leaving a note to his girlfriend?" Gabrielle quickly shoo
Kyle hated the unplanned trip to Europe. He was just getting to know Gabrielle - hired her and took her to his home! He would have had an entire Sunday of just the two of them, inside his own private place. It was because his brother-in-law, Andrew Kentworthy, informed him last minute of a potential prime lot that has become available to the market, and the owner had already received bids! It had been years since Kyle had been planning to build a hotel in England, belonging to the Diamond Brand. Now, it will finally be realized thanks to his twin sister's husband. Aside from that, he had other reasons for meeting his brother-in-law. Andrew Kentworthy owned one of the biggest entertainment companies in England. While he may not have established his enterprise in Braeton City, he certainly had ties, one that could open doors for Gabrielle. If anything, Kyle wanted Gabrielle to get an instant break in her career, and Andre
On a gloomy Friday afternoon, Gabrielle was standing in front of her home, the same one that was taken away by her aunt. It was a three-story house with four bedrooms, standing in a three-hundred square-feet lot. It had a mini garden, and the entire property was surrounded by grilled fences. Gabrielle sighed, seeing how her aunt had not maintained the house well. The paints have already faded and the beautiful tiled roof had a few cracks on one side. It hurt her seeing how the same house her father worked so hard to build was clearly unpreserved. "Well, I would not have the money to keep it renovated," she convinced herself that nothing would have changed if she still lived in the same place. That day, after her morning schedule at school, Gabrielle went to the cemetery and visited her father and mother's grave. That day was her father's death anniversary. While Gabrielle was happy to share with her
Hank: [Kyle, this is to inform you that Miss Taylor was in need of withdrawal. She needed to get her mother's necklace from her aunt and so I offered to pay for it for three thousand dollars.] Kyle read the text coming from Hank. Learning that he had dropped off Gabrielle at the lobby, he was anticipating her arrival. What he did not expect to see was a drenched Gabrielle Taylor, lost in her thoughts. The second she opened the door, her face clearly reflected sorrow. Her eyes were sore and beautiful face lacked its normal radiance. Kyle had never felt pain in all his life, but seeing her in such a state, he was equally plagued. Knitting his brows together, he asked, "Why are you wet? What happened?" While he expected an answer from Gabrielle, the next thing she did was cry helplessly in his presence. He noticed how she was trembling, holding a piece of jewelry in her hand. Without another word, she
'Oh, no. What did I do wrong?' Gabrielle asked herself in silence, watching as Kyle often avoided her gaze as they ate. Earlier, Kyle was being so comforting, hugging her and caressing her back. Yet, now, he seemed to be giving her the cold shoulders. Still, despite his sudden change in temperament, he kept reminding her, "Gaby, you need to eat more. Drink a lot of water since you got soaked in the rain." After gulping down her food, she answered, "I - I wasn't under the rain that long - Achoo!" Her own words were cut by a loud sneeze, and Gabrielle wound up, excusing herself to get a tissue. "Well, seems like that isn't so true," Kyle answered with a frown. After they both finished their meals, Kyle took it upon himself to call the hotel staff and have their plates taken. He let Gabrielle go to her room and take a good night's sleep. While utterly bothered by how Kyle was acting, Gabri
Letting out a heavy sigh, Gabrielle checked herself one last time in the mirror. Her small and adorable face turned from one side to the other, making sure she looked her best. "Okay... Here we go." She was going to school that day and she wore just her classic jeans, but on top, she had her favorite blouse and jacket on. However, to achieve a better picture with Kyle, she had light make-up on. Gabrielle shook her hands before finally walking out of her room. It was in the living room that she found Kyle, already in his suit, smirking as she took every step. Yes. Gabrielle Taylor surrendered to Kyle Wright's demand of them, taking a picture together. This time, however, using his own phone. Her face turned bright red, and she was pretty sure the warmth reached her ears, seeing Kyle's grand facade. Yes. She was just a college girl, taking a picture with a superstar-like. 'The world is so unfair,' she silent
The day before. Sarah Kate: [Kyle, Mom asked me to fetch you. She wants you to join us for dinner. Didn't you get her texts at all? You have not been answering her calls.] Kyle grimaced, seeing his younger sister's message. He had been avoiding going to the Wright mansion, primarily because he wanted to spend time with Gabrielle, but as it turns out, his mother made plans for him. He shook his head and replied back: [Wait for me in the lobby. Give me half an hour, will you, Kate?] After putting on his coat and his watch, he made his way to the living room, eagerly waiting for Gabrielle. He glanced at the living room balcony, grinning at the recollection of Gabrielle taking a picture of him earlier that day. Now, more than ever, he was sure, Warren Foster has now been omitted from Gabrielle's heart! At the sight of Gabrielle, walking slowly toward the sitting area, the corner of his lips curved up into a teasing grin.

Gabrielle never expected it. It was never in their talks nor did her husband hinted they would get married again on their tenth year anniversary. Imagine her surprise when he proposed to her again on the day of her commercial shoot with the children. It was such a perfect timing! In just a month, in front of their families and friends, they renewed their vows. This time, in a more breathtaking venue by the beach, the couple stood in front of an elevated platform, facing the sea.Gabrielle and Kyle had their wedding anniversary at sunrise, a perfect time to receive that day's blessings. Gabrielle, at thirty-seven, was looking radiant in her wedding dress. Kyle, at forty-three, showed more appeal than his younger years, wearing his custom-made suit. "Let's acknowledge it. We both were made perfect by God." Kyle said with confidence, smirking as he gazed at his wife during his promise. "To me, you are the most beaut
Putting down the flowers against the tomb, Kyle caressed the name that appeared on the marbled stone. He greeted, "Good morning, grandma." He turned to the one beside it, saying, "Hello, grandpa." On another grave, Kyle greeted, "Great-grandma, how have you been?" The Wright family visited the graves of the Davises; Matilda Davis, Sarah Davis, and Winfield Davis. Only Amanda and Daniel remained in their homes, merely watching through a video call. Already in their nineties, they could no longer manage to travel long distances. It was some time, two years ago, when Kyle's grandfather, Winfield, passed away. Despite Samantha bringing her mother home with them at the Wright mansion, Sarah followed her husband a few months shortly. "Daddy, who is Matilda again?" It was Gale who asked. Kyle caressed the young girl's head and called the rest of his children. He-reintroduced. He said, "Kids, remember great-gran
Another three years passed. Over time, Kyle had fully expanded business in Europe, following the successful marketing of Freedonia as a vacation destination. The Wright Diamond Corporation eventually started an online travel website, offering package tours where their hotels were exclusively located. With this development, Gabrielle and Kyle ultimately were able to bring their family to Freedonia, taking them for a tour around the gorgeous landscapes that resembled the Netherlands, plus the vast estate of the country's royal grounds. That trip was one of the most memorable ones for Kenneth, especially since he had rarely gone outdoors. All the more when the entire family settled in the Cromwell's manor, a historic, yet luxurious home, made of stones and bricks from the outside. When Kenneth and his siblings rushed to their room's balcony, their eyes widened and their mouths fell to the stunning views.
Two years passed. "Mommy! I love it!" Four-year-old Kenneth exclaimed, hugging Gabrielle and giving his Mommy a kiss! "Havaya, the best supplements for your kids! Try it!" Gabrielle said with a beautiful smile, her eyes glistening at the cameras! "And cut! Good job!" The director said after shooting a commercial that starred Gabrielle and Kenneth. It was because Gabrielle used the same supplement and had found it useful in boosting Kenneth's immune system that she willingly agreed to take the commercial. It was her very first, after many years, accepting a project. The entire time, following her, giving birth to the triplets, she produced two other shows at the BNC media on the sides, one of which received several awards, including the best action series of the year. With Denise working for her, everything was manageable. The best part was, she got to spend most of her time at home with the kids, merely going out for
Another year passed.Smiling in Kyle's arms, waiving and showing off a dimple on his right cheek, Kenneth clapped his hands, following the loud applause coming from his family."Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, happy birthday dear Kenneth! Happy birthday to you!" The entire household sang in unison from within the second-carat conference room of the Second Diamond Hotel."Happy birthday, Kenneth boy!" exclaimed Ethan. "To our handsome little Kyle!" Added Kenzie, who happened to come just for that celebration, bringing along her entire family. Kenneth's second-year birthday was a reunion not to be missed!Even Gabrielle's grandparents from Freedonia took the time to visit since they missed last year's gathering. Diana often said in passing how their years were numbered and how they wished Gabrielle would visit Freedonia, but with Kenneth's condition, it was likely not possible—at least, not anytime soon. Over the past two years, only Kyle had visited Freedonia, merely checking
"Happy Birthday, Kenneth!" With a loud round of applause, the Wright family greeted Kenneth on his very first birthday, celebrated only amongst family and close friends within the first-carat conference room of The Second Diamond Hotel. Gabrielle stood in front of an elevated platform, holding her son with Kyle next to her. They had a table ready for Kenneth to crawl to and on top was a small round cake for him to shatter! Everyone saw the delight in Kenneth's eyes as he giggled his way to reach for the white cake. While everyone cheered him on, he tasted the frosting before finally indulging! "Atta boy!" Kyle exclaimed while he watched his son, blocking the side of the table, making sure he does not fall. "Eat some more!" "Ooops! Careful!" Gabrielle exclaimed, seeing her son move towards his father, giving Kyle a piece of cake! "Dada! Dada!" Kenneth called his father, urging him to taste the white frosted chocolate cake.&nb
"Good evening! This is the late nights with Tommy Hawks! Tonight, as promised, we have Gaby Taylor - Wright, live from their home, accepting our request for an interview." Tommy announced from his studio, walking as the cameras followed him. "As you may have heard, Gaby and her family had been through a difficult time, following an attack by an obsessed fan!" Tommy shook his head, hissing before resuming, "This resulted in Gaby's life and that of the child she carried, in danger." The show quickly showed a flashback of a news broadcast, detailing the crash that happened with Gabrielle and how it was reported that her life, including her unborn child, was in danger. "Now, over three months have passed. Many of you probably have several questions and thus, we made it possible to interview Gaby without coming all the way to Hollywood!" Tommy pointed to the huge screen on his set, and the cameras were quick to follow. Gabrielle was alrea
"Mom, Dad, thanks for coming over," Gabrielle said with a smile after opening the door of their penthouse. "Of course. We are happy to look after Kenneth for this afternoon." Samantha pecked on Gabrielle's cheek and held Gabrielle's hand, saying, "You do what you have to do." Behind Samantha, Ethan nodded and suggested, "Sometimes, you need to get it out of your chest. Be safe traveling." Looking past Gabrielle, Ethan asked, "Where is my grandson?" "The nurse is giving him a bath. He... just dirtied his diapers," Gabrielle answered, looking in the direction of their living room. After inviting her in-laws inside their home, she kissed Kenneth goodbye and made her way to the lobby of The Second Diamond Hotel. Kyle was already waiting for her, together with their new driver and bodyguard. Hopping into the car, she heard her husband ask, "Are you ready for this, Gaby? Are you sure you want to see?"
