Slowly,I turned around to find my mother standing at the door with a surprise look on her face.She looked at the sleeping Gabriel on the hospital bed then turned to look at me.

“Is it true?”She asked and I could see so many unasked questions in her eyes.Taking a deep breath,I nodded hesitantly.

“Ye…yes.”I said in almost a whisper but loud enough for my mother to hear what I had just said.

“How?”She asked as confusion took over her features.”As far as I remember,you told us that you didn't know about Ariana's father because it was a one night stand and you never saw the man ever again since he was gone when you woke up.”I took a sharp breath when I heard my mother's words.

I looked away, feeling guilty for lying to her all this time.

“Can we talk about it somewhere else?I think this is not the right place.”My mother nodded to my words.
