Elaine

“YOU!” I blurted out. My voice was louder than I intended. Unintentionally, it drew a few curious glances from the people nearby and yet I didn’t care.

My heart pounded with a mix of anger and disbelief. My eyes locked on Tristan, and every part of me recoiled. Seeing him again after everything felt like a slap in the face. He had no right to show up here. No right to be anywhere near me.

I couldn’t hide the irritation that bubbled up inside me. My glare was sharp as I stared at him. I hadn’t realized how much his presence still annoyed me until now.

“What the hell are you doing here?”

The words felt sharp, cutting through the air between us. I couldn’t believe he’d show up in front of me again, after everything that happened.

“Well…” he said, chuckling. “I just want a dance, that’s all,” he answered casually.

“A dance?! Are you serious?!” I snapped, quickly moving to another chair. But Tristan followed and sat next to me. “Are you following me?!”

He rubbed the back of his

Elaine“You ready?” Tristan asked me as he pulled me closer to him. With his gentle touch, he slowly locked his hands against mine. I turned my eyes away and didn’t respond. And the melody of the classical music played loudly in the background.Like a falling dry leaf, Tristan and I glided smoothly on the dance floor, holding each other and never letting go. With Tristan’s lead, the music and the movements of our feet synchronized with the beat.Soon, our movements became more and more calm. As if we’re the tall grass dancing with the breeze. My eyes couldn’t escape his gaze. We both got stuck staring at each other.I lost track of time as we stared at one another. The world around us faded into the background. It felt as though we owned the entire party, like no one else existed but the two of us. Tristan gradually eased his movements, and, surprisingly, I didn’t feel the usual hate or disgust that his gaze usually stirred within me.Then, out of nowhere, something jolted me back to

ElaineWhen I lost my memories, I wasn’t even interested in getting them back. Liz’s words, combined with fleeting glimpses of forgotten memories I remembered from time to time, were enough for me to know that I never truly found happiness with Tristan. I didn’t have the urge to uncover anything beyond my lost memories. I never craved to discover that unknown part of myself. But now that the Moon Goddess had chosen to reveal the truth, no pain could ever compare to what I was feeling at this moment. Why? Why did I have to confront my past now? More importantly, why did I have to learn the truth? I was okay now, at peace. This was something that should have remained buried, along with the missing part of my identity. And yet, the Moon Goddess had chosen to bring it all to the surface. My eyes were rivers of tears. I cried relentlessly in the dark corner of the parking lot, releasing the frustration and anger that had been suffocating me for so long. My nose was clogged with snot, and m

My instincts flared, pushing me into the shadows and out of their sight. I scrambled for cover under the gnarled tree, desperate to hide my bare skin.“Damn! This is our lucky night, fellas!” Another voice cackled, its laughter dark and cold.“We’re about to feast, boys!” the first one growled with hungry anticipation. The moonlight sliced through the trees and cast an eerie glow over the cliff. The shadows receded and revealed the roguesThey were hideous, with their foul-eyes and hunger for something much more than food. They stared at me like wolves circling a wounded deer. Elaine“Here, take this to calm your nerves.”Liz handed me a cup of warm ginger mint tea. The warmth of the cup seeped into my hands, grounding me in a way that felt almost comforting. Staying at her apartment gave me a sense of security, especially with her around. I could feel the tension in my body slowly ease, as though the weight of everything I’d just endured was being lifted, bit by bit.I took a sip of the tea. The smooth, fragrant heat curled through me. I couldn’t help but smile. The familiar taste was a small but welcomed comfort in the midst of the chaos.“This is perfect, bestie. Thanks.”Liz just smiled faintly and nodded. Her eyes softened for a brief moment. I couldn’t help but feel a flicker of warmth in my chest. She knew exactly how to help me without asking too many questions. I continued sipping the ginger mint tea and let the calming effects settle in.I turned to Liz. She was still dressed in her casual clothes, but there was something different about her demea

I knew I was dreaming, but I couldn’t wake up from this nightmare. I tried opening my eyes repeatedly while shouting, but everything felt so real that it was like I was sent back in time to experience it all over again. The rogues laughed maniacally. Liz reached for my hand. I tried to stretch my arms toward her, but a violent force suddenly pulled me away. When I turned around, I saw the rogue leader, laughing and staring at me with those same lustful, hungry eyes.“I told you, you can’t run away.”The rogues surrounded me, their hands everywhere, touching my body. The rogue leader leaned in, kissed my neck violently, and buried his face against my skin. Then, they all dragged me to the ground, onto the hard surface of the road, with no one around. I saw the moon shining down on this unfortunate moment as I cried, pleading with them.“I beg yo

Tristan“Fuck!” I slammed my fist into the light post standing next to me. The impact reverberated through my arm.I glanced around again and scanned the empty parking lot for any sign of Elaine. But she was nowhere to be found. The frustration in my chest burned like fire. Every second felt like an eternity, each passing moment a reminder of how I’d let her slip away.I paced back and forth. My feet dragged as my mind raced. My thoughts tangled in a mess of regret and anger. Why the hell had I let her get away from me?I stopped, clenched my fists at my sides, and hit the light post again. This time, the force of my blow rattled my bones, but I didn’t care.“Why the hell did I let her go?” I muttered under my breath. The words felt like poison, like I was suffocating in the weight of my own cowardice.I started pacing again, my steps quick and erratic. Back and forth, back and forth. My heart pounded in my chest. TristanWith Lyndon Everett’s influence, we barged into the staff room, causing a scene. The security guards parted as soon as they saw one of the Elite Five leading the way. They stood in tight formation, clearly ready to step in if anything went wrong. At the end of the hallway, Lyndon guided us to a restricted area, and I felt a cold rush of dread settle in my chest. When we stepped into the room, a large screen flickered to life in front of us.“Play the video,” Lyndon demanded. The screen came to life, and my heart dropped. On the biggest screen, a staff member hit play. My stomach twisted as the footage unfolded.“ELAINE!” I shouted. My voice cracked as I watched a group of ruthless rogues hunting down my mate. Without thinking, I slammed my arms against the chair, sending it crashing to the floor. My anger flared, but the guilt in my chest was worse. If only I hadn’t hesitated, if only I hadn’t let my cowardice take hold, Elaine would be here with us.“This can’t be…” Nancy mur

ElaineAt last, after so many crazy things had happened in our lives, the scene I had always dreamed of day and night was finally happening right before my eyes.I stood at the end of the aisle wearing the most elegant white wedding dress full of sparkling stones in it. Everyone stood up on their chairs as I made my entrance.Nancy, whom I never thought would be a forever friend, was standing with her cute dress. She suited the role of the maid of honor. She deserved to be part of the happiest day of my life. After the things we’d been through, I wanted her to witness this joyous moment. Along with Mr. Smith and his wife, who were holding my arms lovingly, walking me down the aisle.“You look lovely,” he whispered and smiled.“Trevor is such a lucky guy. I wish you the best,” Mrs. Smith said.“Thank you,” I uttered. Even if the Moon Goddess hadn’t let me experience growing up with my parents, I was happy she had sent them just in time in my life and served as my second parents.A fami

ElaineThe usual smiles of the people of Wolfsilver were back. Slowly, everything turned to the way it should be.I walked around checking the aftermath of the war. The pack was in ruins. The damage was beyond imagination. A lot of families lost their homes. Most of the things that built Wolfsilver were lost during the war. But the good thing is, the people’s faces lit up. They were full of life and joy after the defeat of Travis. There’s no more terror in their hearts. Fear was replaced with joy. The nightmare was finally over. And along with everyone, we all could start again.I was on my way to the infirmary. I brought some fruits and snacks to hand over to the warriors who risked their lives for our cause. ElaineEverything happened so fast.Rogues rushed at us. They were hungry for our blood. The wolves fighting on our side howled and a few seconds later, the first drop of blood spilled the ground. I barely ducked as a rogue’s claws swiped at my face. Good thing Jared was at my side in a second and knocked the attacker away."Stay close!" Jared shouted.I gripped my dagger tighter while my hands were shaking. I wasn't a strong fighter like Jared or Elsa. But I had to help somehow.Elsa fought like a hurricane. Her blades were covered in blood and yet i didn’t see her slow down for even a second. Mike, Ruther and the rest of the warriors from Silver Rose Pack moved as if they take war for breakfast.Tristan was fighting Travis up ahead. The two of them clashed. Travis was bigger and stronger. But Tristan was faster. He dodged Travis' attacks and hit him with quick, sharp blows."You’re getting slow, Travis!" Tristan shouted with a bloody smile."You’ll die slow!" Travis growled back a

I tried to be calm, but seeing her smug face was making it hard to do so. She noticed. Of course, she did. Like before, she relished seeing me powerless and furious. That evil smirk of hers was enough to make me want to rip it off her face.Megan grabbed Travis’s face suddenly and kissed him. Passionately. Shamelessly. Right in front of everyone. The kiss dragged on for a whole painful

ElaineWe set foot outside the Silver Rose Pack. It had been a long time since we ventured beyond the safety of our haven. Today, we would take back what was ours. With the strength of our newly forged alliances, we would throw Travis out of Wolfsilver."Keep your pace! We're almost at the pack borders!" Tristan shouted to everyone. The army was led by Tristan and Elsa, running at the frontline, ready to take down anything that blocked our way. Jared stayed close beside Tristan, while Ruther and Mike supported Elsa on the flanks."You better be alive, Trevor. We’re on our way," Tristan said suddenly. His concern tightened something inside my chest. I couldn't help but ache for Trevor, imagining what hardships he might be enduring at the hands of Travis. My mind locked onto our mission. The battle ahead would test us all. TristanThat night, Elsa and the others decided we would leave early in the morning. Some of the warriors in the army were fired up, eager to avenge Alpha Earl. I overheard them talking about how it had been a long time since they felt their blood burn with this much passion. It lifted my spirits to know morale was strong. It would definitely help us win the war.Of course, a few warriors were more cautious. Word had spread about my defeat and the fall of Wolfsilver. They took Travis seriously, preparing themselves for the worst. Travis wasn’t someone you could underestimate. After a short meeting, I headed to the training ground alone. I needed to let off some steam and prepare myself for the rematch against Travis.I stayed up all night, throwing punches, imagining his movements from our last battle. Memorizing them. Preparing to counter them."I see you’re in good shape," Callum said in my head."I have to be," I replied. "I’ve got an ass to kick back home. It’s now or never, Callu

Tristan“How long should we wait here?!” I exclaimed in frustration, hitting the door with my bare fist. “We can’t just stand here doing nothing!”It had been a week since Travis captured my brother. A full week, and still no progress on Trevor’s rescue. The cabin was thick with the heavy stench of frustration and fear. Travis was too unpredictable to guess his next move, and I couldn’t bear the thought of regretting not doing something after everything Trevor had sacrificed for all of us. Including me.Ruther just sat there, his disappointment mirroring mine. Meanwhile, I could tell from Mike’s clenched jaw that he was trying his best to hold his emotions together. The whole Silver Rose Pack knew what Trevor had done for us. Even if they didn’t show it the same way I did, I knew they were ready to fight for him.“Calm down, Alpha. Emotions won’t get us anywhere,” Jared said cautiously.“Calm down?!” I snapped, turning on him. “You’ve been saying that all week! How can I calm down whe

TrevorMy eyes widened at the unexpected scene. I held my breath as I watched Megan being lovingly escorted by Travis."My love... What brings you here?" Travis kissed her hand and smiled."I got bored in my quarters," Megan said, crossing her arms as she stood beside Travis’ throne. "I didn’t expect to meet an old acquaintance."I scoffed, feeling disgusted just by the thought."In your wildest dreams."Megan walked towards Travis. When she reached him, she casually sat on his lap."Do you miss me already?" Travis whispered. He buried his face into her neck."Is there any reason why I shouldn’t miss you?" she teased.Without shame, Travis kissed her neck in front of everyone. Megan, devoured by his lips, smirked at me like she believed she'd climbed back into power. "I’m sure you’re not blind to see the result of your petty revenge," I said while clenching my fists. TrevorWolfsilver was beyond anything I had ever imagined. And not in a good way.My heart sank. Everything was in chaos. The moment I stepped onto the pack’s territory, I had to fight the overwhelming urge to stand up for the oppressed wolves around me."Please stop. I'm begging you," a woman whimpered. One of the rogues laughed cruelly before slapping the poor omega across the face."You're here to serve us! Do you want to die?" he shouted.Another rogue grabbed at her and tore her clothes. While a third pinned her to the ground.“No! Please…Don’t—”Travis' men were worse than animals. They were monsters. Soulless. Heartless. Driven by nothing but their twisted desires. It was broad daylight, and yet no one stopped them. The omega cried silently, humiliated and broken, as the rogues violated her.The warriors stood by and did nothing. They turned their eyes away and let hell swallow one of their own.This... this was normal here now.For the rogues, this was life. And Travis was th
