The horn sounded near midnight, signaling the arrival of the prince and king. We are all required to crawl out of our beds to greet them upon their return. I can't help but feel nervous just thinking about seeing him. I haven't seen him in two weeks, and despite my strong desire to do so, I cannot seem to make it happen because we still have some unfinished business. As the car approached the palace, we lined up in preparation for its arrival. The first person to exit the vehicle was the prince, but no king exited the vehicle. We secretly leave the palace before sunrise. This was all planned, but we didn't expect Mr. Osiris to arrive at the same time we did. Fortunately, he was the only person to notice us at that particular moment. Prince and I were just standing, unable to say anything, but Prince wouldn't stop staring at Mr. Osiris as if he was trying to threaten him. The unexpected words from Mr. Osiris caught us off guard. At the back of my mind, I can't help but worry that Mr. Osiris will tell the king we snuck out. His face beamed with anticipation at the prospect of finally reuniting with his mother after so much time had passed.
