Chapter 72 - Alex

I sigh as I look at my phone again. 

The messages from my bodyguards keep coming in.  Why do these people want me to work so much?  They don’t know who they are messing with. 

I snarl at my phone as I frantically type another message. 

We are only going to be here a couple of days, but I swear I’m doing more work now than I do in an entire month, maybe even a year.  Ugh…

I sigh as I hit send, and another message comes in at the same time. 

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Brandon sit down in the lounge chair next to me with a trail of water behind him.  “Alex, aren’t you going to swim?  We have been in the pool for over an hour, but you are glued to your phone and keep typing.  What is going on?”

I pull my attention away from my phone and turn towards him.  His hair is still wet with water droplets hanging on his eyelashes while others slide down hi
