"Honorable alpha, I think you have the wrong floor; yours is on the top floor. All house is mine," I said, smiling sarcastically.

"This whole wing of the house is mine, not just the top floor, but don't worry, you can stay on this floor as my guest," he said, mocking me.

"May I? I'm a little tired and would like to go to sleep," I said, trying to remove his arm from the door frame to enter my room.

"Don't you think it's a little late to be on the out on a date?" he told me very seriously.

 I could perceive that he was annoyed or jealous, which is the same thing. It seemed strange to me even though I was wearing the bracelet, and he shouldn't feel that way around me.

I was confused by his reaction, "I am adult enough to go out with my friends, thank you very much for your concern, dear alpha," I said, trying again to remove his arm from my door.

"Could you move?" I growled and looking at him straight ahead, without realizing our faces were just inches apart. That's when I realized that my heart is beating fast, and I could smell his scent, and my wolf Kayla was trying to take control.

"I can't understand it—something pulling me towards you, an attraction that I can't explain to myself. There is something about you that drives me crazy, and I can't stop thinking about you, "Hansen said.

I got nervous and didn't know what to do at that moment; he was getting closer and closer to me. Our lips were about to touch when I came to my senses, and with my arm, I pushed him aside and went into my room quickly, closing the door.

I locked my door and leaned against it, trying to catch my breath, which I hadn't realized I had lost, "My God, how stupid, you're a fool, Aly, you were about to give in," I thought, blaming myself for how weak I had been.

"Aly opens the door. We need to talk," Hansen said.

"There is nothing to talk about, Hansen. Please leave," I said, begging him before I lost control and threw myself into his arms and let him do whatever he wanted to me.

I can't explain what I feel for her.  I was so confused as I know she felt when she heard my words.

 I could sense her skin bristle when I touched her, "Aly, please," said Hansen begging her, to open the door. He needed to be close to her, and his wolf was asking him to do so.

"Please, Hansen, I'm begging you to go away," Alania's voice was whispered, pleading with him, Hansen.

"It's ok, sorry I don't know what came over me, get some rest, Alania," Hansen said as he stepped back, confused by how he had reacted a moment ago, in front of her.

"Please, Hansen, I'm begging you to go away" Alania's voice was heard brokenly pleading with him, Hansen.

The next day

"Ivan, why didn't you tell me that alpha Julius was among the guests at this year's meeting," said my father in a tone that I haven't heard for a long time.

"Dad, please calm down.  I just found out yesterday that I saw the list. This year I was not the one in charge of making it. It was delivered directly by the last pack that organized it, and the attendees were already confirmed," I said without being able to say anything more about the matter.

"You know what it means, and we can't let Alania see him. I still don't know how much it can affect her to see him again after the incident that happened four years ago," said my father.

"You think I don't know, and it's my duty to protect her. Even if she had her mate, I wouldn't stop doing it, and she is my sister first and foremost," I said determinedly. I will try everything in my power to protect her and prevent Julius from coming. Still, I don't think it's possible without telling Hansen the real reason.

"We can't reveal it to her unless it is the last resort. I will leave everything in your hands' son".

"Trust me, and I will take charge," I told my father; I know my sister is strong and knows how to protect herself, but she is still my younger sister. It is my duty to protect her, I will not allow the same history to repeat itself, and I will not let her feel exiled again.

"Today, we will start in a different way, we will practice defense tactics, we know we are one of the fiercest and most effective clans, but our defense must be just as effective, you will be in pairs and will change opponents after two rounds, start," said Hansen, addressing the warriors.

I walked towards my combat area with Sebastian. He had become my partner because no one else could match me until Hansen said otherwise.

"Sebastian, your partner will be Dominik. You can find him at the other side of the field," said Hansen pointing the way to Sebastian, "I will be your partner from now on. I need a challenge and believe me, I will not let you have an easy way".

"I would expect nothing less from you," I replied, challenging him.

They all started their bouts, and I got into position, but Hansen put his hands on my shoulders and turned me around so that my back was facing his chest. He got so close that there was no space between our bodies.

I was so close I could feel the movement of his chest rising with his breathing, and it sent shivers through my body.

 Even more so when he came close to my ear, the scent of his cologne was driving me crazy, and he said, "you are so tense, relax."

"I am relaxed," I said, trying to sound confident.

 "Sure, then, why does your body feel so tense" I turned my head to answer him, but he took me by surprise and pulled me to the floor, placing himself on top of me.

"The first rule never turns your back to your enemy or get distracted in combat," he said smiling, enjoying that he had won this first round.

"Can you get up so we can continue, or do you plan to stay in this position all day?" I said with an irritated look on my face for allowing him to throw me in the first round.

He lustfully glared at me.

"Hansen!" I said, staring at him.

"I'm debating on getting up or staying and enjoying the view, "he said in a smirking voice; I put my hands on his chest and pushed him back, and climbed on top of him with my knee on his neck.

"Don't think for a second; you can beat me without me giving you a battle," I said, challenging him and smiling seductively.

But that minor victory on my part didn't last long because Hansen placed his hands on my thighs and turned us around so that he sat on my waist and had my hands over my head, pinning me down.

I tried to move, but it was useless. His alpha force was stronger.

 He came closer to my face until he was close to my ear and said.

 "Don't get emotionally carried away. When you are angry, you lose focus, and it's easy to beat you. You have to focus on your opponent study him," he said thoughtfully.

Our bodies were so close, I could smell his vanilla scent, and I lost control.

I felt aroused to have him so close to me, I could feel something hard touching near my entrance, and that made me even more excited; I gazed at Hansen, and his eyes turned a deep glossy black.

His wolf was trying to take control, he brought his lips close to my neck, and for an instant, I panicked that my bracelet was no longer working.

"What do you have that I go crazy when I'm near you, that my wolf wants to take control, I want you, I want to possess you," he said as he kissed me on my neck, and I moaned with pleasure.

"Hansen, we are in the training field. Everyone is staring at us," I said, and that was enough for his eyes to return to their natural green color with flashes of blue.

He stood up and extended his hand to help me up.

We stood looking at each other for a few minutes until he said, "your training is over; you are dismissed" I bowed as a sign of respect and left the field, blushing.

This is getting out of control, it hasn't even been a week, and I'm already falling into the claws of this stupid couple's bond; I have to talk to Elena.

I went into my room and grabbed my cell phone to dial her, "Elena," I said.

"Aly, how are you? How about your life as a woman in love" she said, laughing.

"Very funny, that's precisely what I wanted to talk to you about. This bracelet is broken. It's getting harder and harder for me to avoid Hansen," I said, worried.

"Hansen, your mate, is the alpha of your pack," Elena said, surprised.

"Yes, what does that have to do with it" I answered her.

"Alphas are different, and everyone knows it. Their instincts are stronger, just like their wolves. The bracelet is not going to work for you for long if you are already falling into his arms, the way you describe the situation".

"Don't tell me that; I need more time Elena, there must be something you can do?" I said in despair.

"I'm sorry, Aly, there's nothing else I can do to help you."

"It's ok, don't worry, I appreciate what you have done. I love you Elena, thank you for giving me a little more time to think," I said, smiling.

 She was my friend, and I knew she did everything thinking about me and my well-being.

I will have to make a decision, and I don't have much time.  I will confess to Hansen that I am his mate and we live happily ever after, or I admit to him that I am his mate, and I reject him.

 I am desperate. I don't know what to do, but soon I will have to do it.
