The boat had just sailed away.

Someone opened the door to Melanie's room. Carson quickly rushed in to help Melanie get up. "They're gone. We should get going too. We only have ten minutes."

"What are you doing?"

The maid guarding the room stood up and tried to stop them.

"Kenneth left this for you. Check it out." Carson tossed the maid a cell phone.

She opened it. There was a video.

Kenneth had recorded the video. In the video, he explained how Nathan's plot was to have all their people killed. He even told them Eagle had modified the time of the explosion. He hoped he could evacuate the island within ten minutes and sneak ashore via another twisted waterway.

After the explosion occurred in ten minutes, even if Nathan felt suspicious about the delayed explosion, he would believe that everyone on the island was dead.

They would then recuperate temporarily on the other shore before sending word to the outside world. Eventually, they would all make it back to Medonia in time.
