Strange behaviours

Emma's POV

Patients tend to respond to a certain level during or post-surgery but Romona did not. Her body was functioning but she was unresponsive which meant that she was currently in a vegetative state with no fixed time of waking up.

This was very crucial information that the patient's family should have known but why did he skip it?

Did he forget? No, that was unlike him.

“Doctor?” I called him out, making him snap out of his thoughts. I asked, “Why did you not tell this to them?”

“It's too early. What if it is just a temporary state and she wakes up? I don't want them to panic for nothing.”

“Doctor, I don't want to put them in that state either but what if she doesn't wake up soon. They are going to ask questions and we won't have any answers at that time.”

Ducian fell mum and seemed to be having a conflict amongst himself over what to do. I understood his position, they were close to him and it would put him in a challengingposition to reveal something like this to them.
