The Alpha has apologized to me, a commoner for a mistake he made. Nice. There was nothing special about it.

“Hmmm.” I grunted.

Draven stayed there awkwardly for a while, it looked like he wanted to say something but changed his mind last minute and walked upstairs.

I understand if he has a lot to say but can't express it in words. The man was just proved wrong brutally!

Even though he was not very trusting of others, he trusted Stella with all his heart. He loved her, he wanted to marry her. Imagine the girl you think you know turns out to be someone entirely different.
