Chapter Eleven - Encountering Lilith

Arianna didn't realize when his hand slipped under her towel while her eyes were closed, his cold and rough hand traced the outline of her thigh,slowly advancing to her most treasured spot.

He stopped nibbling on her neck for a split second and moved back to her ear. He licked it gently and sucked at the ear lobe,giving it gentle bites and Arianna could barely contain herself as her heartbeat quickened with the fear and excitement of it all.

"No matter how hot and aroused just the thought of you makes me feel, I'll never take you without your permission because after our first sexual encounter, I'll never let you go,your body,mind and soul will belong to me and you should know by now that I'm quite the possessive type. Knowing this Arianna, will you let me take you,will you give yourself to me and will you let me make you mine forever?" Loki cooed into her ear and despite how badly her body wanted her to say yes,her common sense finally rose to power and screamed at her to stop it immediately,while she still could.

Quickly realizing herself, she got up instantly, involuntarily pushing him from her body,wanting nothing more than to get as far away from him as possible, the tingle in her lower region enough proof of the influence he had on her.

It was apparent that his words and actions had a huge effect on her and she hated it but somehow loved it at the same time.

"Please stop,stop manipulating me. I'll never love you OK? The sooner you get that, the better for the both of us." She said, feeling too ashamed to even look at him.

"I really don't believe that, your lips are saying one thing and your body is implying another. Stop pretending like you don't want me to touch you,I know you crave for me." Loki said with that sly smile of his.

"Please, I'm begging you to leave now

I'm tired and I would really like to have some rest ,please." She begged and turned away from him, wanting nothing more than for him to get as far away from her as possible.

"You win this time Arianna, I'll let you have your rest because I know you need it but keep in mind that this is only the beginning, I won't rest until I have you craving for my touch." He said and moved towards the door so he could exit her room.

But before he left,he turned to her and said, "Sleep well while you can because you never know how tomorrow will turn out to be. I might have you in my bed tomorrow,fucking you all through the night." He said before finally taking his leave, closing the door behind him.

Arianna tried to shake the lewd thoughts out of her mind but she knew she couldn't shake off her arousal and the thought of it made her blush harder.

She quickly changed into the night gown that Freya had provided her with and rushed off to bed,wishing to fall asleep as soon as possible so she wouldn't have to touch herself.

Arianna turned on the bed twice before finally overcoming her laziness and deciding to open her eyes. The windows were shut and the curtains were down so the sun rays couldn't

trouble her eyes today.

She sat up on the bed and looked around the room,fear and worry almost took over her but then she remembered all the things that had happened the previous day.

The rejection and the deal with Loki, the dinner with the other high ranking members and then,the seduction. Her face flushed when her mind wandered back to just how good he was at the art of seduction,she knew she would have succumbed to her deepest desires if she hadn't been able to grasp her self control at the right time.

A knock on the door,withdrew her from her thoughts and she told the person to

come in. The maid from the previous day, the one who had come to call her for dinner came in with new clothes

"Good morning my lady, I hope you had a good night's sleep." The maid said and dropped the clothes on the bed before moving to the window to draw up the curtains. "Yes I did,thank you. But please stop calling me that, you can just call me Arianna." Arianna requested.

"Surely I couldn't, I would lose my life if the Alpha had to hear me call you by your name." The maid said and Arianna nodded. "What's your name by the way?" She questioned, wanting to at least have a friend in the time she would be here.

"Your kindness is flattering, my name is Zia." The maid revealed and Arianna smiled at her. "That's a really nice name you have." Arianna complimented. "Thank you. If there's nothing else my lady wants then may I request to take my leave?" Zia requested.

"Don't mind me asking but what is the Alpha like?" Adrianna asked. "It's not really my place to speak about the Alpha." Zia politely declined.

"Please understand that all of this is new to me,I was taken from my family and everything I love just because I ended up being the Alpha's mate. If I'm going to be living here and begin a new life with him,won't it be at least fair to know what my mate is like?" Arianna

questioned.

Zia sighed before answering. "From the little time I've spent serving the palace, I can say that the Alpha's a good person. Sure he can be really domineering and aggressive sometimes but he's a good person at heart. He leads the pack well and has never let any harm near us,he completely stamps out threats from rival packs and keeps us all safe. 

Though he has such a hard job and so many responsibilities,he is able to carry them out without a hitch. He is strong and does not condone any form of disrespect or revolt and that's why he is very feared and respected by all. Though he seems like the type that curries the fear of others,you'd be surprised how loved and adored he is among the women folk.

 All of them wished to become his mate and some were even able to come close to achieving their goal but then you finally showed and now,I'm sure the Alpha's leaving a stream of broken hearts. I always used to think that Miss Lilith would eventually become the Luna of our pack due to how close she's always seemed to be with the Alpha but I guess they're not meant to be. And she surely isn't taking your presence very well." Zia gushed and Arianna finally understood why she had been reluctant to talk in the first place, she was the loquacious type and she reminded her much of her best friend, Maya. 

Once the girl opened her mouth, it was hard for her to stop talking but the information Arianna received got her slightly worried, who was this Lilith? Was she someone who could pose a threat to her?

"Who's Lilith?" Adrianna questioned, not being able to hold back her curiosity. 

"Lilith has been a close friend of the Alpha since childhood, rumor has it that they've been in a relationship for years,due to how close they've always seemed to be. Lilith isn't really the likable type because she's way too proud, she's been mean from the onset and always wanted people to treat her with reverence even when she didn't deserve it. She always referred to herself as the future Luna and everybody began to believe it and regard her as such because all the odds were in her favor at the time. 

Firstly, she was the Alpha's close friend and most importantly, her father had the position of Gamma so it was expected that she would become the Luna but you arrived and turned the tables on her and now she's virtually the laughing stock of the whole pack and she doesn't seem to be taking the disappointment lightly, she made a scene just yesterday by injuring her hand with a knife just because she couldn't bare the sight of the Alpha being so romantic with you." Zia reported and Arianna immediately remembered the girl that had sustained a knife injury the previous day.

"So,she was Lilith." Arianna said, not knowing how to feel about her. She didn't know why but she was starting to feel threatened by the mere thought of Lilith. Could she possibly be the enemy that Freya had warned her about? She doubted it.

"I kind of feel sorry for her, continuously hoping and having such high expectations for years,only to have your little fantasy ended in just a day by the arrival of the true queen. And to top it all off,she was rejected by her mate so the Alpha was her last option, I guess." Zia revealed.

"I wonder why her mate would reject her,she seems beautiful enough." Arianna soliloquized but Zia replied anyway.

"I don't really know, I guess her mate realized she had her eyes on the Alpha and decided to give her up but whatever the reason is,I just think it's sad." Zia concluded and Arianna nodded.

She felt inclined to meet with this Lilith and try to make friends with her,she remembered her looking like a level headed and friendly kind of person. Arianna only hoped her efforts would pay off and she would be able to become friends with Lilith,she didn't want to have any enemies that would cause problems for her during the limited time she had here.

 Plus she reasoned it would be good to make a request to Loki that Lilith take her place after the three months had elapsed, it was only fair because it seemed like she was the one who had come between them in the first place.

"I think I've said too much already so I'll have to take my leave now my lady,do call on me if you need anything." Zia said, bowed slightly and left.

Arianna rushed into the bathroom and did her business, after that, she dressed in the new clothes that Zia had brought for her.

She rushed out of the room and accidentally bumped into someone, the collision caused her to almost fall but the person caught her hand in time.

After bracing herself for the pain of a fall and it never came,she opened her eyes to see the person she was looking for. Her eyes came in contact with those fiery amber ones and she instantly knew who it was, Lilith.
