“Johann!” We shouted in chorus.Lalia who have just came out of the water ran in frantic towards Johann, the lady healer immediately casted a spell to Johann. Yet Johann was still void of movements. I dashed to him and with trembling hands held his face making him look up.Johann had his eyes closed, he was breathing but there were no signs of him waking up. His hand was still holding on the magical sword he stuck on his own stomach. The magical sword did not vanish meaning he still has enough mana to sustain it; he was still fighting on his consciousness.I looked over my shoulders to see the second milieus executive who was fighting with Johann, she has a petrified look on her face as she herself was standing still, not moving a muscle. I looked back and forth to Johann and that woman. I remembered what happened to me that evening, when I went with that woman voluntarily, when she told me she will let me experience what I desire

As Johann gasped for air, the enemy that was surrounded by Empousais began to move too. The disbelief was present on her face as if she had just witnessed an impossible scene unfold before her eyes. The agitated Empousais were easily defeated by the mage and swordsman duo. Now they were about to reach the now angry Monma. Due Johannes’ unconsciousness the strength of the domain battle ground was decreased but it was still intact, the functions and the powers of the contracted spirits were still enough to deal damage to the rampaging ender heart.I held Johann in my hand as lady healer continued to pour nature’s healing power to him. Johann’s eyes were half open; he was conscious now but was still weakened perhaps because of the ender heart’s influence.“I could only do this much, the rest, Johann should take the initiative to heal, especially completely waking up from that illusion he is in,” lady healer sa

Blood trickled down Harlequin’s forehead but he was still smirking at his opponent. This made Amon more annoyed, another laser like beam rushed to Harlequin’s direction which he effortlessly dodged.“Be on offensive you idiot! Don’t just dodge,” though irritated, Amon did not forget the fact that she was summoned her for training purposes. The goddess have not forbidden the fight but she should still adhere to the first order she was given. And that is to help the hero strengthen his attacks.“But kid, I don’t have contracted spirits yet,” the hero shouted between dodging the beams from Amon. When Amon heard this, she stopped the rain of beams and looked at Harlequin with confusion. She was already told that the summoned hero has his own original power. It was connected to the things he has the greatest connection too in his world. The power he was able to manifest was something unique, in this world it

“A Wanderer, a Creep, and a Sanen, that’s one weird combination,” Amon pointed out Johann’s phone as she was panting from dodging the continuous attacks from the pawns“Right? These three are my first pieces so I’m really proud of them. Especially the sanen, I’ve come a long way after feeding my mana to it after my meditations.” Johann proudly stated as he stood still on his position casting spells and commands to the pawns. The Sanen, who was now starting to grow horns lunged to Amon. Despite being attacked, Amon was amazed by the Sanen. Since Sanen’s are usually used as pets it’s uncommon to see one on a battlefield. But given the weird hero, one should really not be surprised by the oddities anymore. The goat-like monster was a docile horn less monster, but if a master feed the Sanen with mana, the Sanen will eventually grow and level up until it reaches a point where its horn grows.Rumors say that

“You will fail to save this world!” The voice of the first milieus executive thundered. In one last effort, Harlequin with all his might cut the head of the last Seven Table Executive he has to eradicate.“Harlequin, all the other milieus have been restrained. The third executive has also confessed the whereabouts of the Grand Arch Wizard. Shall we depart now?” Valencia reported to the dark Harlequin.“Secure the teleportation circle, tell Lalia to do it quick, we have no time to waste. Let’s end this war,” the hero said as he turned his back to the corpse of the enemy, his cape blocking the view of the rolled head from Valencia’s point of view. However, when Harlequin began to step forward, the cape no longer restricted Valencia’s view. The head, although only dead severed for seconds has gone pale as if no blood has been left to drain. It was the work of the hero’s sword, a mahò t

There was a panicked look on the Grand Arch Wizard’s face as the chess board domain of the hero spread throughout the ground. He attempted to move outside the domain but he was both restricted by the rules of the board and the magic circle he was standing in. The chain of destruction mildly clanged when the wizard moved his hand.“There is no use; you can’t go outside this board.” Harlequin stated. The Grand Arch Wizard stared at him, his deep blue eyes was almost producing sparks of electricity.“You can use mana and aura,” the wizard stated. There was no need to ask about it anymore, in his eyes he could clearly see the energies flowing inside the hero’s body.Harlequin did not intend to answer the wizard’s question or rather statement, instead he commanded his knights to launch an attack towards the wizard as the mage and the priest that serves as the bishops cast power ups and protection to the tw

“The goddess who defied the order of the Supreme Being, it cannot be! Why have you come back?” exclaimed second milieus executive as she was choked inside my air bubble. The moment the surroundings turned black, she once again attempted to use her ender heart. The power given by the ender heart was an attribute that belongs to the sub elements category. It was ‘moonlight,’ a power that can be used in the rise of darkness. But she has failed to completely deceive us once again. Following her illusions, something was triggered in my mind. They were foreign memories, the memories of the wind goddess. They were slowly entering in my mind accompanied by a searing pain. Like a jackhammer drilling in my head.“It looks like you did not do your research properly then,” I conveyed to her as I twisted my hand that was holding my wand and poured another spell inside the air bubble.Shards of air blades ran ramp

Final Chapter: Secrets of the WindI caught a glance of myself in the glass wall of the flower shop I was working in. My hair was really the unusual color, like an albino. But I am sure I was not one. I was not born with this hair, through growing up white strands just started to show and now my hair was nearly all white. That was the reason why I cut my long hair and always wear a hat, to hide it from speculating eyes.I fixed my hat and picked up the spray I was using to water the flowers. Just then wind passed by, nearly tucking my hat out of my head. The wind made some flower petals dance with it up above the air. I smiled by the beautiful scenery of the dancing petals basking under the rays of the sun.It was a happy scene yet my heart started swelling. Sigh, I just can’t make myself continuously happy, I wonder why too, maybe in my past life I have committed a huge sin?“Christy! Come, your favorite chess tournament is about to end!&rdqu

“Moria!” I flinched when someone slapped my face. Slowly, I opened my eyes and saw a face I have not seen for the longest of time.“How dare you sleep in the middle of a war?” The accusing voice was so refreshing, I missed this feeling.“Ferepia,” I called out to the owner of the hand who slapped me.“Yes it is I, the great fire goddess, now stand Moria, you have a battle to win.”When I realized what was happening I quickly stood up and my eyes witnessed the horrendous scene before me. Dead bodies were everywhere, the once green lush ground was now filled with ash, and the trees that were within battle range were all down, burned and destroyed.Meters away from where I was standing, emitting black energy was The Grand Arch Wizard. But there was something different the energy was decreasing. It was constantly decreasing!“Did it worked goddess Ferepia?”Th

In a short time, a bright flame, no, it was the brightest flame I have ever seen danced in from of us.I did not wasted anymore time, I began to fuse my wind spell at the bright flame. The wind would be the guide of this child’s power, the power that will end the enemies.Together, Lucianna and I raised our hands, pointing our spell towards the huge bubble below us. I saw our allies’ faces inside the Johann’s board domain; I trust that they will hold on.“Now!” With all our strength the huge force was directed down to the battle field.I caught Lucianna when she was about to

There was another detail in the prophecy that everyone failed to take notice of. The most important part that will be the key to all of this, it may be our only chance. It was indeed possible for a goddess to defeat this enemy but only one would not suffice against so many enders. So if one would not be enough, we should just call on more.“To my allies, people of Llfhame, for many decades you have put your trust in the gods. Once again, show your devotion and belief; call upon the help of the gods! Together!” I used air to transmit my voice to my comrades. It is gamble since the enemy could hear it too, but this is the only chance.“Your coward gods would never come!”“But I am already here,”Up above the air, I produced a large magic circle enough to cover the whole battlefield.“Now Johann!” I yelled at Johannes who was fighting below. There was no time for him to look at

There is no intention to kill in the energy surrounding her, in fact there was the willingness to cooperate. And of course her hatred for me. the fact that I am a goddess did not seem to have any effect in her view of me. I am still the annoying girl who stole her love interest.“They are ready to execute the plan anytime. My brother is in position,”I nodded at her and faced Johann, “It is time, go lead everyo

Slashing and clashing sounds could be heard all over the place, the other aces were on standby not so far away from the battle field. William ran all around the place, circling Antonella who was rooted in her place.William could have easily go on offensive and return the damage he have taken but because it was Antonella he was facing, he could only go as far as getting on defensive.“Why wouldn’t you fight me?” asked Antonella with an edge of irritation in her voice. “You indeed see me as someone who is weak! That’s what I hate most about you, it’s always you… the genius, the best, the healthy and outstanding William!”The nearest root started to attack William, he sped forward, towards Antonella but a smoke that was violet in color crawled towards him and he knew that if he inhaled that smoke, he would faint. The wind has become harsher; it felt the brewing danger from the resurrection of the Grand Arch Wizard. Once Johann and the spirits have settled, we came back to the formation and followed the original plan. The others from the academy and the temple were already in their positions, if this comes to worst that plan, we could only hope that is enough.“Don’t worry, we can defeat them,” Johann’s smiling face was oddly not comforting. He trace of smile from what happened earlier was still there, I shook my head in disbelief which only made him grin wider.“William is still restraining Antonella, and we could already see the progress, everything is going as planned.”I remembered the meeting we had at the academe, how we formulated the plan and prepared all the back up plans in case the first strategy fails. We have used all the resources we have, all to not let the Grand Arch Wizard grow more. We should

The wind brushed harshly against my skin as I soar higher to the skies, the creeping feeling of his gaze still lingers in my skin. Quinn has also felt it, the overwhelming pressure the enemy emits.“What are you planning to do?” Beside me Johann struggled to fight against the pressure of the wind, my eyes rounded when I realized he was with me.I was too hasty, when I felt that gaze I moved on instinct, and my instinct was telling me to run away from that place immediately. I ordered Quinn to halt and the wind quickly calmed down, we were higher up in the skies, we were not able to see what was on the ground anymore. What I saw up here was a familiar scene, I once saw this in my memories, that time I was with him, “Harlequin,” the name suddenly came out of my mouth.“Moria?” there was wonder in his voice but I could hear the joy by my mere utterance of that name.“The Grand Arch Wizard has ful
