Chapter 102: No One Living!

Alec POV

"I know you are trying to distract me, but it's not helping." I sighed as I looked over at Jason as we got closer to the packhouse; he had been telling me about his mates and how it was hard to get used to the idea of sharing, but once they got there, nothing compared. I am sure he was right, but right now, all I could think about was those I had left vulnerable back home.

"Have you heard from Finn?" I asked, pulling my eyes from Jason's emerald gaze to look back at the road.

"Not since I gave you the phone at V's." He explained, but regardless, he had his phone out and was checking it. "Want me to call again?" He asked. I did, but I was a realist, and if I wasn't getting him through mindlink and he wasn't answering the phone, I knew there was a reason for it. I just hoped I was wrong and it wasn't what I was thinking.
