Mane’s leap was daring, yet when one considered that he was a Body Wielding Noble, it seemed like humility to leap from a tower that didn’t reach past the confines of the atmosphere. The wind pressure alone should have been enough to ruffle his clothes, yet Mane’s attire remained as it was. His clothes defied the laws of physics and moved freely in the wind, almost like Mane was taking a casual stroll through the neighborhood.

Down below, the mouths of many of the workers were agape in shock. They had just witnessed a man leap off a building without a single display of caution. All the men and women below were competent warriors in their own right, but none dared to make such a leap. And though they had witnessed their ancestors flying around freely constantly, they had never seen any of their leaders take such a daring leap; they had never witnessed a man playing with – no, taunting – fate.

“Did he just jump down?” Lam was the person in charge here. Lily was stationed elsewhere, deal

Several kilometers away from Amalgamation, at the location where the great forest that marked the boundary of the Elemental territory previously stood, an old woman with a Lion head cane stood calmly. Her aged eyes swept across the land, taking in the distinct differences; differences that had been born from two gods reckless rampage. She sighed painfully when she saw how much damage the land had accrued. And though this wasn’t the land of her people, it didn’t mean that she couldn’t sympathize with the Elementals. For though the land of the Ancients had faced its own share of devastation, it couldn’t compare with what she was seeing here.“Being close to the source of the destruction surely didn’t help,” the old lady sighed and lightly tapped her cane on to the ground. Her simple action elicited a loud groan of discomfort from the earth beneath her, and it shook and trembled as it struggled to patch itself together. Yet no matter how much it tried, it just couldn’t mend its wounds.“

Back in the broken city of Amalgamation, Mane was entertaining the people with his unreal power. Many of the workers were working no more. For all were intrigued by the Supreme’s amazing ability and unbelievable control over the elements. For once Mane received his assignment, the power of Elemental Telekinesis was put on full display. Like a seasoned weaver Mane moved his arms around and intricately dictated the paths of every earth granule in his presence. And they obliged his call. Every single person, from young to old and old to even older, marveled at what they saw and were amazed by the power of the young Supreme. Mane floated freely in the air. With his mastery of wind, he didn’t have to put much effort into achieving weightlessness. As he breezed past, every single grain of sand and piece of broken earth – every single slab – he dislodged in his battle with Shiva was uprooted and put back into place. Mane could feel his energy through the stones and the winds. He could sense

“Yours?” Mane asked, stunned by the reply he got.“We couldn’t have the people panicking. And there was no way the world would accept you if they knew what you were capable of.” Lam started.“So you told them exactly what I was capable of but positioned me in the seat of a hero,” Mane interrupted.“Yes,” Lam nodded his head. “People have always been blinded when it comes to the goodness of a hero. No matter how much strength a hero possesses, the masses would adore him. Though the higher authorities would still see a massive threat when they look at this person, the regular folks wouldn’t see this. All they would see is someone strong enough to protect them from the greatest threats.” Lam continued.“So instead of letting them know that I was fighting for my own life, you twisted the truth by saying I was fighting to save the world,” Mane sighed as a dull headache breached his hard exterior and gnawed its way into his skull.Politics had always been a tiring thing for him. Schemes, li

Sasha roared in delight and landed right in front of Mane. The large Nether Beast jumped onto Mane, forgetting to de-miniaturize. Luckily for her, Mane was Mane. He allowed Sasha’s paws to descend onto his shoulders and returned the large lion’s hug. Silver was a bit slower, and had to settle for watching the two act all cozily with each other before his turn arrived.“Where have you been you furry baby?” Mane lovingly rubbed Sasha’s fur as the large cat purred in delight. Her eyes were narrowed into narrow crescents as she enjoyed the caress of her human companion. It was only after several minutes that Sasha let Mane go. And that was because Silver kept whining pitifully at the back.“Silver,” Mane smirked and pulled Silver onto his shoulders. Unlike Sasha, Silver de-miniaturized the minute he landed next to Mane. And so it was much easier to have the small monkey all over the young Supreme. Once Silver was close to Mane, he took matters into his own hands and leapt from the young

Mane’s figure easily went past the reconstructed gate. The young Supreme’s pace, though leisurely, was much greater than what the average Noble could manage. In less than five seconds he had left Amalgamation so far behind him that it was a small dot in the distance. But his journey was meant to end here. For Sasha pawed at him once he was at the place she wanted him to be at. And Mane furrowed his brows in doubt. He could see nothing; he could smell nothing; and worst of all, he sensed nothing. Mane was at a stage where nothing could be hidden from him. His abilities as a Scholar were at their near-peak and so were his abilities as a Spiritualist. Logically speaking, there should be no one in this world capable of evading his senses or throwing him off for that matter. Usually Mane would have gone past this place and searched for the actual meeting place. But Sasha was adamant. The Nether Beast was confident that this was the place. So Mane descended from the sky above and graced the

“Oh? The boy knows his stuff.” Komfo Anokye’s surprise lasted only a moment. He recovered soon enough and was back to his smiling self. He could feel his soul trembling in excitement. The tremble was slight and almost inconspicuous. But anyone well trained in the art of souls could discern this. And that was why Komfo Anokye praised Mane. For clearly Mane had associated his trembling soul to his bloodline.Keira was silent. Her eyes were focused on Mane, so much so that the young boy was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. But he didn’t want to show his ancestors any disrespect, so he didn’t comment on it or show any obvious signs of discomfort. The issue was that Mane was in the presence of one of the greatest minds to have ever roamed the true universe. He stood before the man who had earned Ananse’s – a goddess of wisdom’s – respect. Komfo Anokye saw right through Mane’s discomfort with his discerning eyes and chuckled.“Forgive us Mane. My sister is a bit terrified to meet you.”

“You have experienced the power of the Grim Reaper?”Mane was not just stunned by what he heard, but extremely doubtful. The Grim Reaper’s power was beyond anything in this universe or any other. This was someone who stood at the true peak of the realms and continuously grew stronger with every death that took place. Saying he knew how strong the Reaper was was one thing, but to say he experienced the power of the Reaper was something difficult to believe. Because experiencing something meant that you had to be in the midst of that thing. And though Komfo Anokye was strong, the power Mane felt from the older man was several notches below that of the Grim Reaper’s.“I have indeed experienced the power of the Reaper before. In fact, all the remnants of Kerith have experienced the power of the Reaper.” Komfo Anokye stated with a small smile.Mane turned to look at Keira for confirmation. His grandmother had a great aura of purity around her that made Mane confident that she wasn’t capabl

Mane lifted his shoulders with a “What did you expect?” look. How was one race going to be able to stand up to multiple god races on its own? That was impossible. No matter how talented Weapon Masters were, they weren’t the only dogs the gods had. And unlike them, the other beasts were still tethered to their leashes.“While we did lose, we destroyed several god clans, killing off over 7 god clans – permanently.”Now did this stun Mane. Gods weren’t pieces of vegetables or some trash that could so easily be thrown out. They were people who had crossed the threshold of normalcy and entered the ranks of the abnormal. And each god clan had the right to be arrogant. Though they weren’t all ranked at the same level of power, killing off a god clan was a mighty impressive feat. Killing off two was near impossible and killing off three was improbable. However, Mane was listening to someone telling him that his race was able to kill off 7 god clans! How as that even possible? How did they bre

“This…is amazing,” Mane’s eyes widened as he took in the sight before him.The young Supreme was seated on Roxanne. The beautiful dark horse had been granted the power of flight by Crystal who had no trouble casting a flight Lease on the lovely beast. While this was not a permanent condition, it would last hours, and that was thanks to Crystal’s expert command over Chaos. Any other person would have been able to cast this Lease for just under a few minutes. Mane was no exception to this. Even if his power was not sealed, he would not be able to use this Lease to liberally. If this Lease was that practical, it would have been popularized.Next to him, Professors Stern and Stanley, and Dean Desmond had smile plastered on their faces as they watched the Supreme’s gobsmacked reaction to the impressive sight before him. Behind the professors were the students, both old and new. While the older students, Kahn, Frost, Bel, and Maia were floating on their own, the new students had to be envel

“What a brilliant welcome,” Poseidon slowly moved towards the teenage looking Zeus and Atlas with a broad smile on his face. The god of the waves floated elegantly upon a bident, his eyes briefly scanning Atlas before finding his brother’s immature figure.“You have grown weak, brother,” Poseidon chuckled as he slowly flew towards his brother.Atlas, who had been on guard since Poseidon’s appearance, frowned upon seeing the god of the waves getting closer to a much weaker Zeus. His figure flashed as he appeared before Zeus, shielding him from the gaze of his own blood brother. “You have fallen low brother. Now, you require the protection of a titan? Hilarious.” Poseidon mocked as he locked eyes with the delicate looking Atlas. “Of course I have fallen. Not only was I betrayed by my own son, but I also almost died. What did you expect will happen when one who is considered as part of the big three of Olympus approaches a fallen god?” Zeus did not mind his brother’s comments.Instead

Days passed and soon it was time for Mane to leave the planet of the Celestial Emperor. Well, he wasn’t the only one leaving. It was time for the professors to return to their academies with their students – both old and new. In front of the portal that could transport them back to their academies, Mane stood with his friends as they bid each other goodbye. Well, something close to that at least. To give them some privacy, the other professors had gone on ahead with the students, standing a few tens of meters away from the Silver Wolves.“Our great Supreme, our captain and leader, the Unbended is finally leaving us. Whatever are we to do?” Abe waved his hands theatrically as he feigned sadness and pain. His words caused Selina and the twins to snicker. Only Aegeus snorted before shooting Abe a deathly stare. As for Mane, he could only smile wryly at Abe’s comments. He didn’t know when it had started since he had been away for so long in the Dreamscape, but Abe had become more easy goi

It took a week for Godking to complete its assignment and soon, Mane was back on Planet Celestial. Walking through the streets of the capital, he noticed that he was receiving a lot of stares. While it wasn’t unusual for people to stare at him given his appearance and his ethereal aura, that was only on Zandor. One could argue that it was because he didn’t look like a Celestial, but that was not accurate either. Since Celestials opened their homes to others who craved entry into the God Academies, they had welcomed several different species into their home world. Mane wasn’t not out of place in this new era, meaning there were definitely staring for another reason.“You have become very popular, young Supreme,” Professor Stern who was walking next to Mane chuckled and said.“Hahaha! The recordings that were taken of you should have spread everywhere by now. Even those who were unable to attend the event know who you are!” Professor Stanley laughed heartily while striking the young Sup

“You are still eating, even after all that happened?” Hildegarde frowned and said. She was looking at the boy who had forcefully taken her with him when he was returning to his realm with a disapproving gaze. They had escaped that world that had been prepared as his burial place. As though it had never happened, they had returned to the exact spot he had been teleported from – the kitchen. Hildegarde was confused about his current reaction.Seeing him biting onto his tuna sandwich caused her eyebrows to lift in frustration. It was the very same meal that Mane had made and had barely taken a bite of when he was transported to another world. And yes, that was not a dream; it had really happened. She couldn’t understand how the Supreme could be so calm after coming out of a life-or-death situation.“What would you have me do then? Toss it into the trashcan? That would be a waste of food.” Mane answered nonchalantly as he wiped some fish from his cheek.“That…” Hildegarde searched for wor

There were many things that could not be understood in this world, regardless of the amount of logic that one’s mind could process at any given moment, there were things that befuddled even the most brilliant minds. One of such brilliant minds – no, two of these – was staring into the sky full of stars with a torn expression on his face. This man – nay, this god – was the trickster and master shapeshifter, Loki. But he wasn’t alone.“What are you thinking about?”“Many things.”“The great Loki has more than one troubling issue? This is interesting. Odin would have laughed at the absurdity of such a statement; but looking at your expression, it seems to be true.”“It is arrogance to assume that one can solve all one’s problems with one’s mind alone. Why do you think I sought you?”“Isn’t it greater arrogance to presume that two would be enough?”“But its not just two is it? One is the mind of Odin and the other is the mind that Odin sought.”“You say you aren’t arrogant, but you do not

“There really is no one impressive here,” Dragon King Bast stated as his sword sliced through a Noble as easily as cutting through tofu.“I knew he said he will make sure this place is left almost unguarded, but this is incredible,” Captain Hafiz muttered as he watched the disciplined legion of warriors beelining into their path. While he spoke calmly, his rioting aura and the violence being radiated in his eyes showed his eagerness for war.
