Oh Death! Where Is Your Sting?: Part VI
Abe was still keeping an eye Breaker with great intensity. There had been no major changes. However, the black aura around him was growing stronger. The man had been too quiet for a while. Suddenly Breaker disappeared from his position. Abe’s danger senses immediately went crazy, and he heard a loud ringing in his head. Although he had been watching Breaker, the assassin’s speed took him by great surprise.
Before he knew what was happening, Breaker had appeared to his side. And the little assassin’s hammer was heading straight for Abe’s ribs. The dark energy that coated the hammer was so menacing that Abe’s earth armor was being corroded even before the weapon got to him.

The ground shook, and the wind howled as Abe moved with great ferocity towards Breaker. The mighty roar of the Wyvern carried great spiritual pressure, and Breaker who was faced with its assault was shaken for a brief period. “Return,” Abe stated, and the Wyvern that moved with him became a midst that filled his right arm. On his scaled right arm appeared the marking of a Wyvern with its mouth wide open. The drawing light up, and Abe’s right hand was engulfed by a great red light much deeper than the scales that concealed his human frame. Abe pulled his arm back with great force like a bowstring. Great power was gathered into his curled up fist as his speed greatly increased. And like a flash of light he disappeared, leaving behind nothing but an afterimage.“You did this!” Breaker returned to the real world with the anger he had racked up in his mindscape. He may be deranged, but he knew that he didn’t enter his mindscape willingly. His chest was a mess, and several of his ribs were broken. His heart had been completely obliterated, and if it wasn’t because of his special constitution, he would have long given up the ghost.“I assume we will meet again?” Abe looked into Breaker’s rapidly dimming eyes and said. Ray’s expression was extremely unpleasant. As an Olympian, his power was tied to himself. No matter how good a weapon was, it wouldn’t help him much. Even though he was an expert with the sword due to his ancestry, it wouldn’t improve his power much. The same went for many other gods. The situation changes when a god is paired with an Attribute Artefact that shared in his attribute. But Attribute Weapons were rare. Only a few had appeared in the True Universe, and each of them was created due to luck. Cronos’s Clock of Eternity for instance was created not based on skill, but on luck. For though the creators were talented, never in their wildest dreams had they envisioned a Time Attribute Weapon would be born from their hands. “Get out of my way,” Seth gritted his teeth in anger as he swung the Dark Sword. The powerful artefact hummed dully as its figure blurred in the darkness that engulfed it. With great power it sent a thin but very sharp sword light flying at Ray.“You’re not the only one who can use a weapon” Ray said in disdain. The avatar he summoned seemed to share in his disdain, for it swung the large claymore it held towards Seth with great precision. And a burning sword light intercepted the dark sword light.*Bang*Both sword lights were strong, and neither could gain the upper hand, leading to each cancelling the other out. Seth’s expression was very ugly upon seeing this. The dark sword light was a manifestation of both his and the Dark Sword’s power. Yet together they couldn’t overwhelm Ray.“You are not going anywhere,” Ray declared before launching several attacks, intent on keeping Seth grounded.
