“Do you think he has noticed?” 1st asked Blade Lord.

There was silence in the mindscape for a short while, before the answer which every one of the masters here was expecting was given.

“He wouldn’t be Brahman if he didn’t,” Blade Lord replied simply before going silent again.

“Worry about their family drama later. Right now, our little boy’s battle is more important.” 2nd chimed in.

“Alright then. You are right. We will worry about that later.” 1st nodded; and then they cast their attention to the battle happening outside.

Bloodied Blade: Crazed Cut of the Blade King!

*Boom*

Professor Jackson was forced to take a step back once again, abandoning his plan of destroying Mane’s staff in the process. The young Supreme’s eyes were filled with desire and intent for murder. While this desire was suppressed, it was still visible at a palpable level. With a massive leap forward the young Supreme closed the gap between him and the professor in an instant. The daggers in his hands resonated w

No matter how many masters one has or how talented one is at absorbing the teachings of others, if one is unable to inaugurate the teachings of one’s masters into their own, one would be unworthy of all the attention and grooming. Bloodied Blade arts was a powerful blade technique. It was so powerful that unlike Prideful Sword, it had taken Mane years to fully understand the four techniques that encompassed this blade art. You see, the Blade Lord was different from the Sword God.The Sword God took pride in learning many techniques and incorporating them into each other to create a variety of sword skills that were useful for every situation. There was the Swallowtail Sword, Gentleman’s Sword, Warrior’s Wrath, and Mountainous Sword. Each of these three sword arts had their own techniques, and each was meant for a different group of people. The Mountainous Sword was meant for heavy sword users, while the Swallowtail Sword was perfect for those who prioritized speed over brute strength.

“To think there would come a time when I would see this again,” Brahman watched on silently. His words were spoken to himself and the surprise he felt when he saw the blades floating next to Mane was concealed much better than even a spy would. It sounded hilarious – the pretext – but that was exactly the reason why they had been subjugated. Their planet and sacred artefact was too precious an object to allow outside of the hands of the Heavenly God Clans, and it was because of this that they had been wiped out. At the time, it felt like the best option. It felt like their death was the only way to go about things. However, just like children grew into maturity and became adults, Origin Gods also experienced growth.Unlike godlings who were born as children and grew

Every blade or sword master started by learning skills that belonged to others; however, that was not the path to the peak. By mastering the skills of others, one would eventually reach the top, but one would never be recognized as the greatest in the field. To be acknowledged as a great, one must develop their own technique. It was for this reason that Nobles had to forge Breaths and convert them into Glows before being allowed to ascend. It was for this reason the Sword God and Blade Lord received their names. They would have been considered mediocre if they hadn’t come up with their own techniques. The Blade Lord developed the Bloodied Blade Series while the Sword God developed many sword tomes of which he allowed Mane to borrow the Prideful Sword Series. They had always encouraged their pupil to develop his own sword or blade art. Or better still, a technique that could be used with any weapon at all, given that his weapon of choice – the choice fate had made for him of course – w

“You cannot keep this up forever,” Cronos reminded the boy that was doing his utmost best to overcome the huge mountain that had been placed before him.The task of going against a man who was akin to a god in his own domain was a tiring one, and even with Devour and fate on his side, the Supreme’s mental state was not at its best right now. While Light and Darkness had their own sentience and acted solely for Mane’s sake, meaning that he didn’t necessarily have to consciously control them at all times, it was still the power of his soul that they drew upon. The strain that this placed on him was great. He was mentally and emotionally drained.“I know, but I have no choice,” Mane muttered through clenched teeth as he pulled away from one wasp and into the path of another. His True Eyes flashed brightly as they deduced a viable path for him to follow. “What power is this?” 1st asked as he helplessly watched his protégé soullessly reclaim his stand on the stage. He didn’t want Mane to lose. Of course, he didn’t; but he definitely didn’t want him to win this way either. That dark and sinister power that had engulfed the boy was the very same one that they had tried to fight against years ago. It was this very same power that they had rescued the boy from and had blamed Cronos for. After all, it smelled much like the Selfish Titan King; however, Cronos was here with them right now. Just like them, he was trapped within the young Supreme and unable to do anything but watch the young boy’s transformation. He had been freed of any accusation!“I think you know what power this is,” Cronos answered simply. He didn’t sound as worried as the 1st. On the contrary, he was not even worried. He was calm and composed and his voice was not fettered by the feelings of anxiety or fear.“No, it cannot be!” 1st screamed in denial. The other masters we

“Who are you? You aren’t the Supreme.” Professor Stern asked with furrowed brows. As he spoke his aura was raised to the maximum in preparation for war. It was clear that he was not naïve enough to think that this would end in a conversation. As for his question, he had every right to ask this. For he could easily tell that the person in front of him was merely wearing the Supreme’s husk but was not the Supreme himself.Mane watched the Professor silently without saying anything. His eyes were darker than an abyss, yet they weren’t glazed over. There was sentience reflected in them, yet the Supreme would pay the professor no heed. He watched the two professors silently and then lifted his hands. Light and Darkness shivered strongly next to him, unleashing auras several times stronger than before. Nightmare which Mane was wielding before was also allowed to float beside the Supreme. Even Professor Jackson was stunned to see it moving freely, for it was not a Soul Weapon like Light and

War was part of life. Everyday, we are forced to fight our own battles. Some are won, and some are lost; but in the end, the true winner of war is the one who can rack up more wins than losses. When it came to war between two forces, not much was different. There was one great disparity though.Unlike the wars we fought against ourselves, the wars that claimed lives and left people destitute didn’t determine their winners by the number of battles won, but by one or two moments that could easily shape an era. The winners of a hundred battles could easily lose the war by failing to grasp victory in the most important battles. What did it matter if you conquered a hundred minor world and lost one major world? What meaning was there in bringing back the heads of ten generals but losing the head of your king? Victory is made meaningless at that point. Those that sought the universe understood this logic. Thise that sought to place everything in their hands, moved by the power of this law.

“This…is amazing,” Mane’s eyes widened as he took in the sight before him.The young Supreme was seated on Roxanne. The beautiful dark horse had been granted the power of flight by Crystal who had no trouble casting a flight Lease on the lovely beast. While this was not a permanent condition, it would last hours, and that was thanks to Crystal’s expert command over Chaos. Any other person would have been able to cast this Lease for just under a few minutes. Mane was no exception to this. Even if his power was not sealed, he would not be able to use this Lease to liberally. If this Lease was that practical, it would have been popularized.Next to him, Professors Stern and Stanley, and Dean Desmond had smile plastered on their faces as they watched the Supreme’s gobsmacked reaction to the impressive sight before him. Behind the professors were the students, both old and new. While the older students, Kahn, Frost, Bel, and Maia were floating on their own, the new students had to be envel

His figure flashed as he appeared before Zeus, shielding him from the gaze of his own blood brother. “You have fallen low brother. Now, you require the protection of a titan? Hilarious.” Poseidon mocked as he locked eyes with the delicate looking Atlas. “Of course I have fallen. Not only was I betrayed by my own son, but I also almost died. What did you expect will happen when one who is considered as part of the big three of Olympus approaches a fallen god?” Zeus did not mind his brother’s comments.Instead

Days passed and soon it was time for Mane to leave the planet of the Celestial Emperor. Well, he wasn’t the only one leaving. It was time for the professors to return to their academies with their students – both old and new. In front of the portal that could transport them back to their academies, Mane stood with his friends as they bid each other goodbye. Well, something close to that at least. To give them some privacy, the other professors had gone on ahead with the students, standing a few tens of meters away from the Silver Wolves.“Our great Supreme, our captain and leader, the Unbended is finally leaving us. Whatever are we to do?” Abe waved his hands theatrically as he feigned sadness and pain. His words caused Selina and the twins to snicker. Only Aegeus snorted before shooting Abe a deathly stare. As for Mane, he could only smile wryly at Abe’s comments. He didn’t know when it had started since he had been away for so long in the Dreamscape, but Abe had become more easy goi

It took a week for Godking to complete its assignment and soon, Mane was back on Planet Celestial. Walking through the streets of the capital, he noticed that he was receiving a lot of stares. While it wasn’t unusual for people to stare at him given his appearance and his ethereal aura, that was only on Zandor. One could argue that it was because he didn’t look like a Celestial, but that was not accurate either. Since Celestials opened their homes to others who craved entry into the God Academies, they had welcomed several different species into their home world. Mane wasn’t not out of place in this new era, meaning there were definitely staring for another reason.“You have become very popular, young Supreme,” Professor Stern who was walking next to Mane chuckled and said.“Hahaha! The recordings that were taken of you should have spread everywhere by now. Even those who were unable to attend the event know who you are!” Professor Stanley laughed heartily while striking the young Sup

They had escaped that world that had been prepared as his burial place. As though it had never happened, they had returned to the exact spot he had been teleported from – the kitchen. Hildegarde was confused about his current reaction.Seeing him biting onto his tuna sandwich caused her eyebrows to lift in frustration. It was the very same meal that Mane had made and had barely taken a bite of when he was transported to another world. And yes, that was not a dream; it had really happened. She couldn’t understand how the Supreme could be so calm after coming out of a life-or-death situation.“What would you have me do then? Toss it into the trashcan? That would be a waste of food.” Mane answered nonchalantly as he wiped some fish from his cheek.“That…” Hildegarde searched for wor

There were many things that could not be understood in this world, regardless of the amount of logic that one’s mind could process at any given moment, there were things that befuddled even the most brilliant minds. One of such brilliant minds – no, two of these – was staring into the sky full of stars with a torn expression on his face. This man – nay, this god – was the trickster and master shapeshifter, Loki. But he wasn’t alone.“What are you thinking about?”“Many things.”“The great Loki has more than one troubling issue? This is interesting. Odin would have laughed at the absurdity of such a statement; but looking at your expression, it seems to be true.”“It is arrogance to assume that one can solve all one’s problems with one’s mind alone. Why do you think I sought you?”“Isn’t it greater arrogance to presume that two would be enough?”“But its not just two is it? One is the mind of Odin and the other is the mind that Odin sought.”“You say you aren’t arrogant, but you do not
